installed tv in my friend's garage man cave, easy setup, picture quality was really good as was internet connection to wifi router. sound on tv was average, but connecting audio output to surround sound receiver solved that issue. he is all set up to host a fantasy football draft in his man cave

The remote is difficult to use if you enjoy watching movies with the light off. There are no lighted buttons I never relied how nice it was to have remote light up until I purchased this & now have to have lights on to pause movies ect. The picture is really vivid bright which is nice.

I wanted to replace my old flat screen with a smart tv and this was is a very good fit for me. It's a little bigger than the old one and I'm pleased with the picture. The price was good and it was fairly easy to set up. I like being able to use one remote for the tv, cable, and sound bar.

We purchased this TV after replacing our family-room TV and realizing how awesome it was having Netflix and Amazon built into the set. (Our existing bedroom TV streamed through a several-year-old Blu-ray player, and the streaming capability on that device is fairly out of date.) The black levels on this set aren't as deep as OLED or top-of-the-line LCD, but the color and level of detail are very good. The Smart Hub interface works well, though it is a little slower and clunkier than the webOS 3.0 interface on the LG we bought for the family room. The TV needs to be powered up for a couple of minutes before the network connection is established and the streaming apps start working. However, once the streaming apps are running, we rarely (if ever) see freezes or a drop in resolution. Overall, we are very pleased with the TV. I'm sure the picture and app functionality would have been better in a Samsung 4K at the same size, but I don't think it would have been worth the extra money.

We looked at Samsung TVs for years and finally took the plunge. Great picture. We also purchased the sound bar and the sound is outstanding. Sometimes the subwoofer does not come on when the sound comes on and that is disappointing. If you turn the sound off and on again it corrects.

I was given this TV for Christmas and absolutely love it. I will only buy Samsung TVs because of the quality of their products. This TV has some very nice features I wanted but most of all it has an exceptionally sharp, crisp picture. This is our third Samsung tv in the home and love it.

There are a few minor annoyances with this tv. When you want to use any of the apps (such as Netflix) you have to wait about 5 minutes after you've turned the tv on or a message comes up telling you the tv is preparing things and you have to try later. I haven't tried some of the other features. Overall the sound and picture are great for the price.

We are pleased with the size and quality of this tv. We had a Samsung television that was a little smaller and we just wanted to upgrade to a larger size. This one has fit perfectly. Some of the reviews stated that the set up was complicated but I found it to be one of the easiest I have done so far (and I have done several ). The picture quality is very nice.

I bought it for my kids and they love it. It is a best tv for them.

Works great for Netflix and TV watching, the web browser is lacking but you can hook a laptop to it if you want to surf the web.

This is the fourth Samsung we have bought. We have a 19, 32, 55 and now this 40. They are all great TV's never have had any problems. The 19 and 32 are in a motorhome shaking and wobbling all the time and again, never a problem. I dont see myself buying any other brand tv anytime soon.

I love Samsung technology. I have a phone, a few tablets and now this awesome TV. It does things I have wanted to do for some time. The picture is great. The sound could be better but when I decide on a Surround sound system, that will no longer be an issue. I'd buy it again.

So I tried to be frugal and get the less expensive tv. That was a mistake. So I went with what I know is a great product...Samsung. The 40 inch tv is much better than a 32inch tv. I love all the features. I would highly recommend this tv to friends and who ever wants to listen.

The 120 hz processing speed makes for a great picture. The smart tv portion of the menus are a little slow and clunky but overall a great tv.

Perfect TV for our guest room, I think that our guests really like having a TV like this in their room.
