This was a replacement TV for my mom, who had an old tube TV, and it is a huge improvement over that TV. The TV is an excellent value and provides great picture quality at a very reasonable price point. It is a good size for a small to medium size room, and even without any external speaker, it provides good sound for someone who no longer can hear very well. The two HDMI inputs allow for connection with a DVD player and another device. The only thing that didn't work as well was the stand, which for some reason I could not get to keep the TV completely straight, and the quality of the stand was not very high. It didn't have a big impact on watching the TV, unless you fixate over the angle of the TV. I would recommend the TV for a small to medium size room, kids/gaming room, etc.

The tv has very good picture and sound. It is easy to set-up and to activate the Smart TV functions. We are very happy with the tv.

I researched and waited and found this to be the one for me!! The refresh rate, the size and options are awesome and affordable. My only issue is the availability of apps from Samsung, but hopefully they'll get that in order.

This TV was a great bargain, and has great picture and sound. I installed it on the wall in our bedroom. The only negative I can find is that the "SmartHub" is kind of slow. When you first turn on the TV, it takes about 10 seconds to watch while the SmartHub loads. Then, its about 4 or 5 minutes until you can actually access any apps. For example, when I turn on the TV to watch Netflix, if I try to load it within the first few minutes, I get an error that says that "Please wait while the TV is being prepared." Not a terrible thing, but just surprising that it takes so long. For the money, though, its a great buy!

Great Resolution, easy setup, and light weight. Purchased online and arrived promptly. Would recommend this Smart TV to anyone.

Love the clarity and all the web-based features. Just what we were looking for. Replaced a 32" Smart TV. Larger screen makes all the difference. Up to date features work great!

Bought this tv to use with an Apple TV and it works great. The picture quality is superb and it is easy to set up and navigate.

The tv includes a well implemented SMART function which easily allows access to Netflix, Amazon, etc. The image quality is very smooth and sharp. The color is quite good.

My very first Samsung TV I was truly impressed I researched several 40in TV before I made my pick. The picture quality of the image is stunning considering it's a 1080p which its give it a very clear image and unlike other TV which have a 60z motion rate which would cause the picture buffering when the image is moving fast but with this Samsung TV it has a 120z motion rate which of course its Better and less buffering . It's was easy to asseamble . The only problem I really had was that it gets disconnected from my wifi once in awhile so I have to be refreshing it so I could access the smart hub apps.

It's a Samsung, need I say more? It has an awesome picture, great sound and was easy to set up. I just wished it had a higher MHz rating, since it is a large screen.

I got the tv for Mom's bedroom. Unfortunately, she is not impressed with it being SMART & all it's many features. However the color & picture quality is superb.

Size is just what we wanted with samsung quality and support...price was just alittle more than the other low end option , worth the extra money for 2x the quality

Tv works great and is easy to setup. It is very easy to use. I would buy it again. Has a good picture and color is good.

I absolutely love this TV! Both the picture and sound are excellent! Excellent viewing range as well. Many LED & LCD TVs look awkward from the side, but if I'm watching TV while doing stuff around the house, I can still see a clear picture from many different angles. You won't be disappointed if you buy one!

This was a great gift for my Mother. The Samsung 40 inch TV arrived on time and was easy to setup. The picture looks great and my Mother really enjoys the TV.

I use this tv mostly for gaming and it's great! The refresh rate is good for pace fast games and the display is beautiful as well. Bonus for being a smart tv!

Overall the TV was a good buy, but it has a few minor annoyances. One being that when you initially turn it on you cannot access smart features until it is done "preparing". I never had this problem with my brother's vizio. It only takes a minute or so to prepare, but nevertheless it could be better. Also, the remote doesn't have a qwerty keypad which isn't a necessary feature, but it's nice to have. That could be purchased separately if desired. Overall it's a good affordable TV.
