This seems to be a good TV but it strangely lost its mind once and would not operate - had to be unplugged and plugged back in to start working again, I really wish they had included a paper hard copy of the owners manual - not everybody has web:

This is my second Samsung 40 but my first 'smart' one. I decided to try this one because of the 'front speakers'. This one was also very easy to set up. IMO the 'front speakers' aren't really front speakers though. There is a setting for 'wall mount', and it did improve the sound a bit but I find still myself turning the volume up a lot higher than than I do for the other one which is sitting on a stand. No big deal though. The Smart Hub worked well at first. It was a little more complicated to set up than I expected. Then, about three weeks in, the sound problem started. It streams videos fine sometimes, other times the sound cuts in and out. I've checked everything. Nothing else in my house has that problem so I'm guessing it's a Samsung problem. But, the price was right so I'll be moving my Roku to this TV and I expect everything to be fine. The only other problem I have with both TVs is the closed captioning. It's the worst I've ever seen. There's only one setting (?) which is a big black bar with white lettering. I find it very annoying. Still, the price was right. The price on this smart Samsung was not a lot higher than the the first non-smart one that I bought.

Was exactly the size and Smart TV I needed for the bedroom. Easy to put in cabinet and easy to set up and use. Would buy it again.

I am very happy with my purchase! This TV has an excellent display and the refresh on fast moving action is great. Samsung has been on top for a while with regards to their quality and this TV is no exception.

No complaints as of yet. Easy to set up and use for the most part. Just wish the buttons on the remote were a little less tough. Might soften up over time.

I use it outside on covered porch. I wish the volume was louder out there. Probably good indoors. Use the smart tv feature and it works well with my wifi
