It's not from the most advanced "smart tv" line, so it doesn't have some features for remote access from ipad, but it is plenty advanced. Two HDMI ports allow Chromecast or Amazon Fire access as well. Excellent contrast even in a sunlit room. Good viewing angles.

Great HDTV

Whatever you do, do not get a Hisense TV. We bought that one last year and 3 months in we started having problems. We should have done our research and not just bought it because it was less expensive. This time we reviewed and we got a great HDTV for a great price.
