This TV was purchased to replace and older high definition set that had a wide plastic frame. By buying this larger set with a slim frame we are able to get a much larger picture in about the same amount of space. We are enjoying this aspect of it. We bought this brand because of the good reputation of Samsung products.

I got this TV for my play room, I got my kids Xbox conected and for movies it got the perfect image for what I need it for.

Samsung is my television of choice, this TV was selected after a problem with a previous Samsung TV, with Geek Squad protection. I could not get another TV like the one that went bad, and this was a comparable model I selected as a replacement. The quality is great, you won't be disappointed with the picture on this one.

It's an awesome smart TV for only $300- can't beat that. On top of that it took me less than 5 minutes to make this purchase and everyone at the Van Nuys store was super nice and helpful. I had just had surgery a couple days ago and couldn't lift anything heavy, and they helped me get it into my car without any issues.

I use this with my xbox one. It's a good tv. Games don't go over 60 fps so you don't really need a refresh higher than that.

This TV was bought to replace my brother's ancient tube TV and bring him into the 21st century. The price was right, and I trust Samsung products.

wish I had known before purchasing that Samsung is having issues with Netflix that that they are working on. It does not always work as it should.

this tv replaced our 11 year old sony bravia, so i was expecting lots of newfangled features - the smart tv options/apps are cool but we already had most of them from our amazon fire tv. the picture is nice, nothing amazing. the annoying thing is is that it will dim randomly, even when the lights in the room don't change. not sure why it's doing that...

Samsung makes great products, especially Televisions. I have had no issues with the t.v and the visual effects are great.

My primary reason for buying this TV was to have the Smart features. I have a couple of Apple TVs and a Roku, but did not have a device to be used with this TV and was hoping not to have to buy another one. The TV is fine - all it is used for is streaming, I don't have a cable, satellite or broadcast signal connected. The real downside to this as a Smart TV is how slow the "smart" features are. After you turn on the TV it takes a few minutes before the "smart" features are loaded. And once they are loaded, navigation is pretty slow as well. I often overshoot the item I want because of the delay in the TV responding to entries on the remote (moving, selecting). But for the price - this is a reasonable TV with reasonable smart features, and it is definitely OK. A solid 3 stars. Would I recommend this? It really depends. If you mostly stream what you watch, I would seriously consider getting a Roku or Apple TV along with this TV. I may end up doing that.

I bought this TV for my bedroom. All things considered, it exceeds my expectations. I wasn't looking for the latest and greatest like 4K UHD. I just wanted something that covered two basic points: HD and Smart TV at a low cost. This one is perfect.

This is a good TV. I've been using it for about two weeks and it works great so far. It is a lot lighter than I expected.

Tech's were really helpful. Went in with our kids as they were getting a tv and we ended up buying one too.
