Great beginner smart TV for my parents

Absolutely awful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Smart TV section of this unit is terrible. The apps drag, stop, flicker and just don't work. The YouTube app suddenly changed all of its icons to Japanese and then wouldn't work in the US (the country code WAS set correctly in the unit's set up). The sound was terrible and because Samsung was not helpful about any of this, I had to dig deep into Google to find the sound solution. Not that it matters, we don't use the TV at all. Don't buy this.

Samsung TV's are fantastic!
