I was not looking to replace our older television. This Samsung Smart TV however fit our needs and was not overly expensive. The picture was much different than what I had been accustom to but is still just as good. It took us a little time to adjust to the difference. We have had it for a month and it is good for movies, games and all around entertainment. I find dvds, gaming and streaming to be superior to local cable. Perhaps that is because I do not pay for HD service. Good TV.

Great TV. Easy to use features. Nice size, bought it for bedroom but would be nice in my den too.

I am very happy with the Samsung tv. It is easy to operate and the picture quality is very good.

It's good price & product if you want a TV for bedroom or small family room. 40" isn't considered a vary large screen anymore but the picture quality is fine. I need to add a sound bar because it has the rear projected sound. Fortunately, Samsung makes a great wireless sound bar. I have a 50+ Samsung in a larger room and picture & sound (with bar) are fantastic. The 40" cost less and overall is a bit lower quality. I'm happy with the majority of Samsung products I purchase.

We haven't been able to test out all it's capabilities but so far we are extremely happy with this product and we bought two of them. The picture and sound are quite good and it feels quite sturdy especially when you compare it to others. We watch movies and play games on ours and we are very pleased with our purchase. I would recommend this TV to others. Especially as we bought ours during one of Best Buys special sales.

Is an astonishing tv. The weight is incredibly light... the look and feel is ultra modern and the screen size is perfect for a small room. And images are awesome. Crystal clear and sharp. I do highly recommend it!

Bought this TV for my Mother as a Christmas Gift. They are enjoying the new TV. Great Picture Quality. easy set up.

Samsung makes tvs with great picture quality, colors are vibrant,crisp and clear and the smart tv aspects work well

This TV has an outstanding picture, great sound, and works well in a small room!

Very clear picture with excellent motion detail, clear and balanced sound and a breeze to set up. I also like it because it includes an analog stereo out (pin) for a sound bar instead of only a digital out option. Basically, plug everything in, turn it on and go. Have not set up the wifi, yet or the direct internet connection but I'm sure it will be easy and add lots of viewing options. Highly recommend this inexpensive, larger-screen TV for a smaller TV-room setting. You really can't go wrong with a Samsung product.

This is a nice tv, the picture is great and it's nice having access to all online streaming platforms in one place. I don't have cable so the only part that is annoying is that when I turn it on it goes to static, but there might be away to change the default settings.

This tv has a great picture, & very easy to use. It could use a few more HDMI connections.

Samsung makes quality televisions hands down. I have a 46" and a 40" and they both deliver excellent picture quality from my PS4 and XBOX one. I'll never buy another brand television. Don't hesitate to buy a Samsung, especially from Best Buy they always have great deals.

Been using the TV now for over two weeks and it is amazing. Great clarity, smooth picture for action on screen and crisp bright colors. I would probably just go for the bigger size next time. 40 inches is not enough in a bigger room.
