The TV has a nice picture, but unfortunately the sound leaves much to be desired. Not much low-end sound and if you have fans or anything on you need to turn the volume waaaaaay up to be able to hear anything fairly well.

This TV has a great picture but better yet an easy to use remote control.

Excellent picture with good controls. Easily connected to wifi with good Netflix pic, excellent Pandora, and Amazon streaming movies. It even has a browser.

This is my first "smart tv" - it's great to get netflix so easily! The picture is clear; screen size is perfect for my living room. Sound quality is excellent. And the price was unbeatable. Wins all around!

Great picture. Easy to assemble, hook up, and install. Love the Smart features such as direct YouTube access.

Love the size, quality and ease of use. We were able to program the system but found out we needed special cabling for High Definition.

I have a 55" Samsung 3D Smart TV and love it's ease of use and picture quality, so when it was time to buy a TV for my daughter's room I went to my go to brand. This 40' Samsung has the HDMI ports on the side so you can mount the tv and the cables don't get bunched. It's very light weight but sturdy on the base. The screen size seems bigger than other 40" tv's because of the design of the tv itself. The speakers are good enough for what is needed in her room.

The next generation TV has arrived, making extra hookups and equipment unnecessary because they're already inside! No Roku needed! Excellent picture and sound enhance ease of use and viewing experience .

Good quality picture. First time I've had a Smart TV. I have to wait a couple minutes after I turn it on before it will connect with the internet. Not sure if it is because of the TV or slow internet. Overall, I'm happy this product.

It's a Samsung. What else needs to be said. Easy setup, perfect picture, 2 HDMI ports, connected to home wireless router with ease, and kids can watch Netflix w/o adding more devices for internet access.

We purchased this TV for my Mother-In-Law for Christmas. She is very happy with this TV and it fits perfect in her Living Room. The sound is good and the picture is great. Very Happy with this purchase.

Purchased this for a Christmas gift for my son who is in college. He plans to watch movies, play x-box & listen to music....Of course, after studying!! :) He absolutely loves the TV. Thank you Best Buy!

The television is great! I haven't used it with it's build in Smart features, but I use it to complement my Xbox, and the quality of the games are great!

I love this TV. It's a perfect size for the bedroom and it's easy to use. You can't beat the price on a smart tv this size and quality.

Pros: good picture and size, affordable, has Samsung tech support that actually responds immediately Cons: TV on air tenna is very poor (and I bought the more epensive Mohu Leaf} -- will try a cheaper RCA amplified and additional cost of Roku device as I want local network channels as well as online streaming services. Smart Hub is slow loading , but works, except for Hulu -- loses audio after abut 10 minutes of viewing and not user friendly in the Smart Hub mode.. Amazon is fantastic and Netflix ok as well. \

For the price this is a great television. It replaces a Sony television which had screen issues within the first year. The picture is clear and crisp.

tv sounded better than most tv this size got a good price on it! have only had for a couple months easy set up!

This TV had a far better picture than Toshiba. It was worth the extra money to get 40" opposed to the 32". The screen navigation and smart features are user friendly.As always, very pleased with Samsung.

Purchased this for a second / bedroom TV and have been pleased with it so far. We have had it for a little more than two months and have no complaints. Yes, the sound is not great, but as with most all TVs of this size, the housing limits the size of the speakers that can be put in the TV. We have this TV on a tripod and move it around and depending on the location, have hooked up a portable speaker to the 3.5mm jack and got a much better sound. It has some pre-loaded apps and we have also downloaded some more as well. For the money it fits our needs very nicely.

I had the same 19inch tv for 15year and thought it was great.Then i got this tv and nearly fainted from the quality, clarity, sound i was able to connect to Netflix and Youtube. Ahha!
