I bought this TV for my son so he could play his video games. Because the room it will be placed in is on the smaller side, the 40" model was the right size--not too big but not too small either.

We purchased this TV for our bedroom. We didn't need all the bells & whistles but we wanted a good picture for watching TV and movies in bed. This has proven perfect for that.

Picture is awesome bright and clear Wish I could of purchased a 48" though Love the smart TV but most you have to prescribe too

This TV has great picture quality with TV stations, online streaming, and movies through a DVD player. The bonus was clearly written, easily understood set up instructions. Highly recommended!

Bought as a company gift. Employee who won loves it as it is great quality. I have an upgraded version that I enjoy and wish this had the wave remote and some of the other tricks. But price for value a better tv then most

I was looking for a TV for the Master bedroom in my house. Having been very satisfied with previous Samsung TVs, i was leaning that way again. But when I found this unit on sale, i just couldn't pass it up. Great picture, good sound and not to heavy for one person to move or lift into place. Many great features and being able to pair this TV with my Samsung phone and tablet was an unexpected discovery... great for showing photos to friends.

Great picture and set up fairly easy. Did not, and probably will not let it connect to my wireless network. I do miss not having a headphone jack! Sometimes it's easier to watch TV with headphones so I don't disturb others with the sound. I guess they want me to buy a big sound system instead. So far it's working quite nicely, but having only had it a few weeks, I cannot vouch for its durability or longevity. Got it on sale, and needed one about that size for the room it's in.

I was looking to buying my boyfriend a new tv since his was old and I came around this tv which was just perfect for him...not to mention the price was not bad at all...totally recommend it!

I am utilizing this TV within my office utilizing the Google Chromecast for screensharing and streaming for file share with team members. This product is working very well for this objective.

This TV has a great picture, plenty of inputs, and looks nice. However, one of the main reasons for buying this TV was the smart features... they work well once they start working. The system is very slow to initialize as other reviewers have mentioned. Also the audio leaves a lot to be desired, it is hard to hear and tinny ... I am using it in a 28 foot camper in a quiet place and need to turn it up past 70 to hear well, I would not want to think of what it would sounds like in a large room.

Looking for something not too big or too small. This TV was perfect. Has a great picture and can fit in the older style TV cabinet. Some other screens this large can not fit in the cabinet.

I got this TV essentially free for purchasing the xbox one. At first i thought it might be a so so tv but once i used it i changed my mind. It has a great picture and awesome built in apps.

We bought it mostly to use as a second computer monitor and it works great. Good picture, good sound. Video is better using the computer as a source rather than the Smart TV apps, though.

My husband wanted a bigger TV for our bedroom & this is the perfect size without the need for a bigger space & the price is great too for a smart TV. The picture is so clear & true to life.

My mom bought this for her bedroom and I wall mounted the tv. she absolutely loves the tv. Clarity is amazing. It seems like Samsung makes leaps and bounds over the competitors each year.

I have the larger version of this TV and this smaller screen TV didn't disappoint. I unlike other reviewers did not notice a substantially longer wait times to access my netflix account.

After looking at our options and all of the choices out there we decided that sticking with a Samsung TV was the best way to go. This 40" fit exactly where we needed it to go and setting it up was very simple. Being a Smart TV also added to out decision for the purchase and you could not beat the price. Thank you Best Buy for another great product.

I got this tv for my 6 year old. I was disappointed there is no power button on the tv so we need the control to power tv. Which sometimes gets lost with a 6 year old. I got it mainly for the smart hub. But it's getting frustrating that it takes a while to load and sometimes will give me error messages. The picture is good quality so I do like that. I also like the fact u can connect different components to it. Overall I think it's a good tv with a few issues that hopefully will improve.

We love our new smart TV image is crystal clear, sound is loud, and the ability to connect to neflix and you tube is priceless. Our first smart TV now inwant smart TVs all over my house.

I needed an inexpensive TV to put in an extra room. Once installed I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture and the included features. More for the money than I expected.
