I love my new Samsung smart TV. The picture is absolutely crisp, sharp and clear. I did not have to make any adjustments. The price was right to at Best Buy . My whole family loves the availability to use Amazon, Netflix , Hulu and all of the other apps. It is our first smart TV and this has made us want another one in the family room/!!

We were looking for the 48' Samsung Smart TV, but they were sold out on Black Friday. It was a blessing in disguise. The 40' fit well in our room and doesn't take too much space. Set up was easy, just had to install the base, plug in and play. Down loading apps to the TV is a bit tricky at first but when you get one done, it's easy

This TV replaced a long overdue flat picture tube Sony TV in my bedroom. The old TV was fitted with a Sony SMP-N200 so I was able to watch Youtube videos. Unfortunately, the Youtube app on the streamer is no longer supported and no other streamer supported RCA connections so I had to bite the bullet. I was a Sony loyalist but decided to switch to Samsung with Sony's very poor handling of the Youtube app on the SMP-N200 and SMP-N100 (that I also have). Online reviews mentioned poor angle visibility on this TV but it does not apply in my case as I only view the TV from the bed. The TV was quite straight forward to set up and connect to our wifi network. The picture quality has been really good for HD broadcasts and videos. The smart feature allows me to watch Youtube videos as well. Black Friday season pricing also saved me quite some too.

After much extensive research, I chose this TV because not only was it have the smart technology which I wanted to eliminate the wires coming from it, but I also needed the lightest (14lbs) one I could find for mounting on a bracket without studs above the mantle. Pros: looks great, light weight Cons: Wifi connection is not very good, even though it is right next to the router, so I had to end up running a long Ethernet cable anyway. The web browser/processor is excruciatingly slow; (think dial up), even with Ethernet hook up. The amount of preset stream channels (Amazon and Hulu and Youtube, and HBO plus are the only 4 big names) is very slim, so I would recommend a ROKU stick if you want more channels. Sound is a bit low, but I assume this is because it is "customary" to hook it to a surround sound these days. I also have a Sony Blu-ray player hooked by HDMI, which with this connection both the the DVD function on the Samsung Remote AND the Sony remote control the play function, but not everything. It's odd, but the good thing is I do not have to get a universal remote. Of course I could have bought the Samsung player and eliminated the need for a second remote all together, but the Sony was smaller than the Samsung and fit my mantle space better. Over all, a decent and affordable smart TV for a beginner.

I got this tv for my college apartment and it's worked great. It's a great size for my bedroom (10x12), and it's not too small or too big sitting on top of my dresser. The screen and sound are both really clear and good quality. It's also really easy to use with the remote and I like that it's a smart tv so I can watch from other sources besides regular tv channels. Even my roommate commented on how great the picture looks on it. I would definitely recommend my tv to others.

I love this TV. It has great picture and all the apps that come with it. I don't need to purchase a wireless Bluray player to watch Netflix or Hulu because it's already installed on the TV. And it's so thin!! It made mounting on the wall so easy. A great buy!

I bought this for my daughter just out of college. Quality and sound are good. Easy set for her to do on own. HDMI cord a must. Not sure why smart tv's don't come with them.

Very sharp clear images that are almost 3D! Sound is quite good but not stereo. Remote control is compact and easy to understand. Netflix, HBO Go, Amazon Video, and You Tube are available through the Smart TV without the need for Roku or similar devices. The only drawback is that there are only 2 HDMI input ports but this is easily corrected with an inexpensive HDMI switch hub. Also, the ports are located on the right side as you face the TV so if you are hooking up devices it will be easier if they too are placed on the right side of the TV as you face it or else you will need longer cables, at least 6 feet, even better 9 feet.

I bought this TV as part of the Samsung TV/Xbox One deal. I was blown away with how good this TV is compared to my expectations. I've never bought Samsung TV's in the past due to the price, but this TV may have made me a Samsung Tv believer. The quality is great, the sound is better than expected, and we don't even need a soundbar for it. It even includes a USB port, to play files off of a USB stick or hard drive. I actually watch this TV more than my main one, because of the quality difference.

I bought this smart HDTV on Thanksgiving day since it was a terrific deal, plus our family was ready for a Smart TV. It did take more than a few minutes to attach the stand for the TV. Then there was the actual setup to connect to our home Wi-Fi. Then to scan for digital channels since we do not have cable. I was able to get my Amazon Prime account logged in. We've even logged into Netflix and HULU Plus successfully. One of the coolest features is the mirror feature. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and am able to wirelessly transmit whatever is on my phone directly to the TV. So if I have a You Tube video that I want to show someone, then I could actually show it on the larger TV screen!! The only negative I would have about the product was that one of the local channels was not being picked up by the digital receiver. We have been playing with our "rabbit ear" antenna and are now able to get the channel. Otherwise, watching movies and sporting events, like NFL, is incredibly crisp and clear. I did not think HD would make a difference, but it really does!! I am very happy with this TV!

I wanted an affordable and reliable smart tv for my 80-year-old mother. After considering several models and comparing overall reviews, I decided on this Samsung. So far, it has met our expectations for good picture and decent sound, as well as easy set-up. Time will tell as far as reliability, but I have owned several Samsung tvs and never had a problem.

This is a great TV with excellent picture quality. I t was very easy to set up. My only issue is that I have not been able to integrate it with my cable remote so I have to use two remotes. I followed the instructions but it still didn't work. I will blame that on me, not the TV. I love Samsung's picture quality!

The picture on this model is good, nice and clear. It was easy to set up. I do feel that the program to access to smart TV part needs a bit of tweaking. It is not a smooth and easy access. It does take a bit of time to access. I have 2 other brands of smart TV's and they are a much smoother and easier access. overall, for the price, it was a good buy.

I purchased this tv as a birthday present for my daughter but I own one exactly like it...it was very easy to set up...practically set itself up...simple to use and a great picture...I have switched to Samsung for all my TV purchases...excellent quality, good prices at Best Buy.

Great TV for movies, sports, and gaming. Picked it up right before the Super Bowl. Only drawback I would say is the stand as it's almost as long as the TV itself rather than being a shorter square-shaped stand like standard Samsungs.

This is the best tv I have ever owned. That includes the bigger and more expensive ones. Color, sound, picture quality are perfect. Ease of use, and switches between tv channels and streaming apps with no confusion. I didn't have to pore through thick instruction manuals to figure anything out.

This TV looks great, but maybe is not so smart as advertised. The YouTube functionality was buggy, and this was a big hit. We had to get chromecast to reliably cast YouTube from an iPad mini to the tv. Netflix seems to work fine, as does the native web browser. However, using the remote to navigate is slow. Overall, the tv looks great. It is lightweight and the picture quality is very good. However, the YouTube snafus are pretty much unacceptable when it comes to next-gen tvs and I am a bit disappointed in Samsung for this,

Recently cracked my laptop's screen while on vacation. Had photos I needed to review, tweak, and upload for others on our trip. Didn't have time to fix screen, so priced options of a new monitor versus a full-sized Smart TV. For a few extra bucks, no choice in the matter - new TV. Has worked great for viewing while I schedule for a screen fix. Now I can also link in TV viewing when desired too. Good value on good performing TV. Did have some issues getting an older style DVD to display properly on TV, so attempting to work out those kinks with other alternative devices first to confirm TV hook-ups are good. We have a 60" Samsung downstairs that looks and works well. Similar in performance to two other 40" Sony TVs in other parts of the home from earlier days - but this one has Smart features like our 60" for future viewing options.

Saw this tv on sale, picked it up. Got home and installed it with no cable. Picture is good with over the air digital tv, have an antena upstairs. Smart tv part was easy to set up.

Needed to replace an old rear projection TV for my parents. Got a great deal on this one a bit before Christmas. They didn't really need the Smart features, but it was a better value than some without Smart features. Great picture, no issues. My TV is a Samsung as well and it's awesome.
