Great picture, great quality, great price! Love it

I originally bought the sony Xbr 930 (open box deal) and the picture was good but after playing xbox for a while the screen crapped out. I returned the sony and got what i had intended to buy in the first place the Samsung 65inch 8000. Wow just wow. The setup was MUCH easier, fewer settings to mess with (I like it simple) and the picture...well both my wife and I love, love, love the picture. Whether I'm watching the TV, playing Xbox, Netflix....everything comes though in bright, vivid color...the picture is beautiful. I had the TV out of the box and watching it in less than 5 minutes. Samsung has really produced a great product and refined its setup to be incredibly fast, straightforward and simple. Five stars is too few....we give it a 10.

I have purchased several Samsungs and am generally happy with them all, including this one. The picture is great, the sound is good enough for bedroom use and I think it is a good overall value for the price. I will add the new universal remote works great for Netflix and perhaps other “app” type uses but does not fully support our predominant local cable provider, Time Warner. The remote will change cable channels but will not show the guide, which makes it useless. I mention this as I have the previous generation Samsung universal remote which works well with Time Warner. It took me several days of direct communication with Samsung to figure out the remote does not support the cable system. I inferred from this communication that Samsung expects cable providers to build app-like interfaces similar to Netflix’s display that will work with the new simple type universal remote. Probably a great idea but you will be stuck with cable remotes in the interim. I decided to keep the tv anyway. Hope this helps.

This tv has such nice clarity to the picture we couldn't believe it! Bright colors and even black and white was more vibrant. The price point for this tv was icing on the cake! Very happy with our purchase!

This is my first 4k tv and I was wondering how the picture was gonna look because there's very little 4k channels with cable boxes. The upconvert though was enough proof for me to say it's worth the purchase. Then I viewed 4k videos on you tube and it was completely amazing. I'm a happy camper and I love 4k. The colors are so rich with the hdr. Remember how 1080p was, after it came out after 720p? Well 4k is no different. Its a step up in the right direction. We are truely blessed with technology today and I'm glad to be around to enjoy it.

Ultra clear picture. Pretty easy set up of tv and Samsung account. Remote sometimes doesn't work and has to be re-paired holding 2 buttons down. Otherwise super happy with purchase.

Bought this TV for my living room, after my 35 yr. ole TV died. Much different picture quality. The only issue we have with this TV is the SOUND, some times in the same program you have to adjust the volume up or down, a lot of the time we end up having to turn up to 75.

I did extensive research before purchasing this tv for my daughter's bedroom. It's so simple my 7yr old can fully operate it with the included remote. Some other tv's require a tablet device to sync and control. After viewing the tv I bought two more identical tv's it's so nice . HDR on models 7000 and up, go with hdr . 3d is discontinued in all brand tv's cause it's silly. Curved is a gimmick. This is way to go in my opinion. I researched all tv's for days this is it you can't go wrong

The picture is good but not as good as my Sony. Setup was easy. Not sure I like the hand control or the voice activation channel changing system. The voice control doesn't work all the time and must be pointed at the TV.

with the exception of judder (yes, I had to look that up), this is a fabulous set. The judder is so seldom that I still give it my highest rating/ There are other sets without judder, so if this is a problem for you, please be aware. Features are great. Quality of color and picture is great. Easy to use. With my digital antenna, the quality is as good as cable. Very satisfied.

We love our new Samsung TVs. We didn't know what we were missing. Very pleased with the picture quality, color and the ease of use.

As advertised. Beautiful picture, great sound, easy hook up. Only negative is the remote takes a while to get use to. Not a big deal.

I've had this TV for a year (buying it during Black Friday sales in 2016). The clarity of picture and sound are excellent and I love that it's a "Smart TV"

good picture, sound quality is ok, remote could be better, remote voice activated. Turns on fast, good interface, apps work well, easy setup

I bought this as an open box item. The colors are AWESOME. The frame rates are really good too. No lag or digital pixel issues. Recommend!

Rarely have connection issues and looks great! Love how it has Netflix and many other services predownloaded. Also, I believe that it will upres things or at least give them higher frame rate which rocks

I had a 40 inch Samsung Smart TV which had an issue and I was able to get a new TV due to the service center not being able to fix the issue. This TV has a great picture and sound set up and I like the TV menu compared to my prior experience with Samsung TVs. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the remote, but I typically use my cable remote as my universal remote.

I have a 40inch Samsung 4K HDT. I absolutely love it! I’m a huge college football & basketball watcher. And this TV DELIVERS!

Really impressed w this tv! Setup was a breeze; connected to my wifi w no problem. Waiting for the Samsung 3.1 sound bar to go on sale. While sound is good, built-in speakers are on the back of the unit; I'm certain the sound bar will be a great addition!
