This was an open box item....in the beginning i was hesitant but when i saw the price and purchased extended insurance from best buy it still came out cheaper. Overall the tv is in great quality. Small remote only one button on the screen, easy setup.

Looks great, has Bluetooth and it is a smart tv so it has all the apps ready to download. The remote took a second to get use to but i think its cool now.

This tv has an exceptionally sharp picture. I researched it before my purchase. I wanted a smaller size for the space I had. This tv works beautifully.

The TV set was for a den and I wanted a really clear picture and good sound quality, The unit is very thin and fit right in. I am really satisfied.

The picture is awesome. Setup is idiot proof. The home button pulls up apps that are easy to use and download. Could not ask for more except an extra usb and hdmi port. Set is 4k blue ray dvd enabled if use correct hdmi.

Very clear picture easy to set up and control, i'm not an electronic geek so a little intimidated by electronics but I did get it set up in no time

I am very happy with this TV. The Sound, the Color, and the Brightness are terrific. I have no complaints at all I heartily recommend this model..

I love this TV. After looking for a small / medium size TV to replace an older JVC , I purchased an LG from Costco, but had to return it 2 hours later because it looked so plasticky and did not fit my custom space nicely. Same day I went to Best Buy looking for a better one and was attracted by this model . When I realized that the dimensions were almost exactly what I was looking for I purchased the tv . Owned it for about a month now and I am happy with the purchase. The only minor minus( for me ) is the futuristic remote that is not as intuitive as the manufacturer claims it to be

Have has the TV for about a month, the picture is amazing. I have a Comcast Xfinity box attached with HDMI cable and connect to Netflix, Amazon Video and Hulu wireless. Had all kinds of problems getting Hulu to work consistently, kept getting strange error messages (e.g., Server Key Expired) and app would not work. Called Samsung who help with a reset but problems persisted. Finally figured out that even though i had the Comcast 105mps service, I wasn't getting fast enough service to run the app. I purchased a new Xfinity modem (yesterday) and problems appear to be fixed. This seems like something Samsung should have to me when i called instead of having to figure it out for myself. Hopefully worth it as the picture is spectacular.

Excellent TV. Picture very sharp, Easy to set up. Motion speed good for watching sports. I believe that Samsung is best TV brand at this time.

I was looking for a tv that would look great gaming on my PS4, but wouldn't break the bank. This t.v. fits the bill. The only downsides are the controls are terrible IMO and there's no app for cbs all access

Picture is fantastic and asteroids are great. Easy to setup and fit the space great. Remote is simple but does everything you need a remote to do. Apps are glitchy. Our 1 year older Samsung behaves better.

We love the picture on this tv, and the kids are amazed they can watch Netflix and YouTube videos without connecting any devices to it.

This is a solid TV on so many respects. The picture is beautiful and the cross-functionality with my Samsung phone is too cool. The speakers are also great. But, the remote is just terrible.

I was just looking for a TV that would replace my 8 year old Sony XBR 32 inch TV, yes my first HD TV. I had a heck of a time trying to find a TV that would fit the entertainment center. I had a maximum width of just under 36 inches and I wanted a 40 inch TV. So after looking for 6 months, I came across the Samsung 40 inch. Was not expecting any thing great for color, brightness or contrast. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend this as an excellent purchase for the money.

Theres nothing to complain about super sleek Eliminates the need of using my suddenlink remote to changing channels because the tvs remote is able to link up with cable box Suoer sharp picture Its used in a 12x15 master bedroom Whether im in bedn15feet away or sitting in chair 4 feet awsy picture is clear lights on or off its mega bright As with all flat screens Recommend a sound bar and wireless sub The special remote is worth the extra money that comes with this model versus others

The color and contrast is amazing. It looks like you are viewing a photo because the clarity is so clear and not distorted.

Small tv big Picture This tv has a very crisp picture ,easy to hook up, ready for other HDMI devices. And I love the Remote

Great TV. The only downside is the new Samsung remote not enough buttons have to manually navigate through tv menus.

Bought this 40" TV for my Bedroom when Best Buy had a pre-Christmas sale with a good price. Excellent picture and has a sleek looking remote, Press a button and speak to change channels and apps quickly. It also pairs with my Bose Bluetooth sound link headphones. That alone was a important feature I wanted for a bedroom environment. So far I've been very happy with the quality of the TV. Recommended for anybody looking for a smaller full featured, high quality TV.
