Good TV for the money. Nice picture. If you aren't looking to spend a ton on a TV, this is a pretty good option for a 4K TV. If you want a really nice TV and money isn't much of a factor, I would recommend the Samsung 9000 series.

I use it for it's wireless and internet in a work out room. It works great. Picture is beautiful. Easy to use. Connects to the internet easily. I'm happy with this TV.

I love my new Samsung. Beautiful picture and good sound for the price. Very easy to switch between regular stations and the apps. It's the perfect TV for what I wanted.

The picture is very crisp and the colors are vibrant. It was very easy to set up and the remote was able to self-program for use with my DirecTV box. The remote could have been better with respect to the usefulness of the buttons.

Our old tv was dying, covered by the extended warranty, took it in to be repaired...they said it was junk. SO we got to pick out a new tv :-D the sales person recommended this tv...You feel.like You are in the room with the actors...IT IS AMAZING! I would highly recommend the extended warrant and this Tv!

This is a great TV, simple to use, can watch online movies & it has a great picture. I'm sure it does alot more, but it was a good price & does what we wanted.

The ultra HD provides outstanding picture quality. Lightweight enough that one person can easily carry it to the second floor. All 3 TV's in my home are Samsung.

Samsung leads the pack these days for overall flat screen quality. This was an excellent deal on a 40 inch Smart TV that was remarkably easy to set up and use.

Before reading this review, please note that I am slightly bias towards Samsung products, but I truly believe their panels consistently the best picture in the industry. I purchased this TV for the sole purpose of gaming in my bedroom. My normal viewing position is about 5-6'-0" away from the screen and I must say, I do not regret my decision to go with the 49" screen over the 55". The various features of this TV (including the new programmable remote, which was INCREDIBLY simple to program - and which controls my Xbox One in lieu of turning on a controller if I only want to watch Netflix) are absolutely amazing. The wide array of built in apps, the automatic download of software updates, and most importantly, the HDR feature of this TV are worth every penny. While the 9000 series panels offer a few different features, based on the comparisons, I truly felt that the extra cost was not warranted. Really the most important aspect of 4k is to make sure you have HDR and you have a solid panel (with enough HDMI slots). This panel resolves the HDMI issue by having one control center switch that all HDMI inputs tie into. While I think it is a bit gimmicky, I found that I like this idea better (and it works better than a traditional HDMI switch) than having all of my cables running behind my TV and having a heck of a time getting to each one. These are by far and away the darkest blacks and brightest whites I have ever had on a TV. Streaming video in 4k is just absolutely amazing. I also ran a UHD Blu-Ray through my xbox and it was incredible. If you're looking for a smaller room set (this would work for a smaller living room, a bedroom, an office or spaces under say 400sf where your viewing point is never going to be more than say 10-12'-0" away from the screen), I can't think of a better set for the price!

Great television for a great price. The picture is excellent and set up with the stand was a breeze. Easy connectivity with streaming devices and Blu ray player.

The TV is decent for the price. Nice sharp picture and response time for gaming. The sound is good enough and can go quite loud. This one will do until next year when I have more cash for a nice HDR TV for the PS4 pro.

This is great TV when it comes to picture quality, however, there are some shortcomings. 1- There is only 1 optical audio output, and I need 2. 2- The product has a less than satisfactory hand held interface. It way too limited, and totally depends on interacting with screens on the TV. I miss the old hand held which allowed me to switch between channels (current and last) with the simple press of a button. This button does not exist on the new HD TV hand held. Also, the sound control with the new hand held is not adequate at all - it does not control the sound level.

Bought this for my son as an upgrade from his 32" . It's a perfect size for any bedroom . Easy to setup for both game systems (Xbox one, PS4) . Looks great

This TV was very easy to install and hook up. All it's smart functions worked perfectly right out of the box. The picture quality is excellent. I love it.

it's a great buy for a 4K option in this size. Still not as good as the more expensive options but I was impressed with the quality I had with the price.

This replaces an old-school analog television. Great picture and sound. Not a fan of the remote. Not as intuitive as most other remotes I have for other products.

I purchased this television just to use a a computer monitor. So far in the months I have had it, it has been perfect. I thought a 40" monitor would be to big, however now I would never go back to something smaller. Well worth the purchase.

I purchased this Samsung product as an Early Christmas gift. It is awesome... Granted it is not the cheapest or the most expensive model and size... It is just what was needed. For whatever it is worth, my current Samsung is vintage 2009 LED Samsung and it is a good as the day I purchased it... What I did do to help this excellent status is to put the all the video units on 500 Watt UPS system, which prevent electrical line quality issues from damaging all the internet and video components around the TV. Will I purchase another once mine dies. YES...
