Unbelievable picture and upscaling. Software works flawlessly, beautiful picture, color, brightness, upscaling. Even the sound is quite reasonable. I did connect this TV to a sound bar, however. The speakers are more than adequate for a bedroom or smaller room. The TV is easy to set up, easy to navigate, and the remote control is intuitive, small, and streamlined. The smart features are ample, the wireless Wi-Fi connection works very well coupled with an Asus ac gigabit router. I use Netflix and Amazon without trouble. Very happy with this purchase.

I was looking for a 40" 4K, and I like Samsung TVs considering I have others. I needed a TV that also was within a certain set of dimensions to fit in an armoire. This TV met all of the criteria, and I've been very happy with it. The picture quality is excellent. It upscales lower resolution programs, and generally that is a pretty successful process. Sometimes, that can end up with some choppy programming but overall this TV does a nice job. "Modern" programming looks amazing. It also easily connects to a sound bar that also fits in the armoire - so again, a win for me. So, I've been pleased especially for a 40" screen - keeping in mind I'm limited because of my need to have something fit in a constrained location. So, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a very nice tv and affordable as well, but we ultimately decided to exchange it for the ku7000 series. As nice as this tv was, the step up delivered a significantly better picture with much more definition and richer colors, textures, etc. The remote is so tiny...makes me nostalgic for the giant remotes of my youth. I got used to it, but we tend to rely more on the remote for our old samsung 1080p tv instead. Quick to install and easy to set up, took about 30 minutes to get everything going. A really nice set, but you may want to check out both models in the store before making your final decision.

This set replaces an old CRT device...yeah. Sure, they're all amazing in comparison. So I went for outside help. Everyone agrees this is the best picture, not "best picture for the price" but ,THE BEST PICTURE. The unit is light, easy to instal, plenty of connectivity, and a really light learning curve. We got it running in minutes. Granted, there is one series above this; more bells and whistles, same picture. We are VERY happy with it.

This tv has a clear picture and 4k display is great. Games and 4k content looks amazing. Slim which makes great for wall mount and just perfect size for a kid room.

I was looking for a Smart TV that had several specific functions; 1 - it had to support DLNA and had to be able to connect to my NAS server so I could stream videos from my own server; 2 - It had to support Amazon video 3 - The apps had to support an external keyboard for search and data entry It *seemed* that most TVs would do that, but I was very disappointed. I even bought a different model Samsung that didn't connect to my server and the keyboard only worked with the built in web browser (but couldn't use it for Netflix searches, for example). So I returned it. The frustrating part of this whole ordeal is that Best Buy no longer keeps the remote controls out for the TVs, so you can't play with it and explore the features and the whole user interface. So you're just supposed to take the word of the blue shirt, or what little information there is there. Fortunately for me, I complained enough that one of the "Samsung" trained blue shirts dug deep for answers and showed me that this TV did everything I wanted, as I wanted it. And he was right. The TV is fast, very easy to use, easily connects to my NAS server (and other Media Center PCs if you wish), and supports the wireless keyboard within all the apps. Also, the picture is excellent! I was lucky enough to get this on sale just before Christmas, if it goes on sale again soon (which I'm sure it will), I'm buying another one for my office. I love it!

I love this TV. I have had it for a few months now and have enjoyed it. The resolution is great I even upgraded to the xbox one s just so I could ensure I was using it to its full capabilities. You can connect this TV to your phone, it has all of the smart apps you could want in a TV and the UHD and HDR are awesome. Crystal clear quality easy to use and set up. I recommend if you chose to get this TV upgrade your blu-ray player as well to a 4K player. If you are trying to chose between UHD and HD go with UHD if you are trying to decide if you really want a smart TV Just consider what you use it for. To my knowledge only the Smart TVs can connect to your phone via Wi-Fi so that you can do TV to Phone and Screen Mirroring which is Phone to TV. If you already have a streaming device and you don't care about connecting your TV to your phone then save a couple dollars and go with the non-smart TV.

AMAZING COLOR!!! Love the features, don't need a Roku now :) Very pleased with this purchase and the size is perfect for my bedroom. Almost bought a sound bar, but for the room, I don't even need it. This tv really puts out in sound quality and volume level! I found pleasure with the picture/sound after changing the standard settings. At first I didn't have volume. But after making those adjustments and restarting the tv, volume is great. I like that the tv is silent on power on/off.I enjoy the energy conservation part. Wall mounted this TV in my bedroom, and OMG it looks amazing.. Samsung as it's best! Great tv, and my 40" in Bedroom is just as wonderful!!

This is a great TV, especially for the money. The discount was excellent. my salesman was informative and helped by showing me several TV's so I could compare pictures and features. This TV is so HD that some programs actually look almost 3-D. Super easy to set up, light weight and compact, and it looks good. Performance has been perfect.

I was looking for a 4k computer monitor and something larger than the 24 inch HD monitor I had been using. This came up in my searches. It was on sale for less than a comparable computer monitor. I'm totally happy with it! Make sure your video card/hardware can do 4k res. Set this TV input to PC mode to get 60hz refresh rate, adjust sharpness so the letters and fine lines look clean and you are all set. Great picture and nice big screen space! It's hooked up to an antenna so I can watch local TV stations. It searched for channels easily. Smart set lets you watch shows online without taxing the PC. I can watch TV while the PC renders videos. The stand has 2 pieces. If you are short on height on your desk you can leave the feet off and just attach the stub the feet attach to for stability. I have mine tucked in a hutch in a way it won't fall. I highly recommend this set! You can use it for any type video!

The picture quality is amazing, but the TV does seem to glitch frequently. Apps constantly crash (like Netflix and MLB TV). This wouldn't matter if you use it with a Firestick or a Chromecast. I bought two of these TVs, and one of them seems to frequently go into a color adjustment mode, and the colors seem darker after watching for a couple of minutes regardless of which setting you choose for color (Normal, Dynamic, Movie, etc). This may be a night shift setting, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Overall, I recommend this TV for the picture quality and price.

Great picture and was easy to set up, but had some difficulty getting it to work with the optical output and surround sound. Remote control is sleek but takes some getting used too, less buttons that perform multiple functions, so while it looks elegant it takes some time to understand how to do the most basic functions. All said, it has a great picture and was a good value if you catch it on sale.

The TV is great, much better than i expected and i'm ignoring the awesome picture when you get a 4k video. You may say the remote control is minimalist (no numbers), but really, who works a TV remote with numbers (at best, you might use a cable remote for that). This TV is ideal for modern video streaming services (YouTube, Netflix, Vudu, FandangoNow, Google Play Movies, etc.), and supports what i think is called HDMI CEC so for example my Chromecast or Fire TV can Turn on the TV and ALSO my native TV remote control can actuallly control either of these devices (yes for example, i can pause a chromecast video with the tv remote, something i never saw before). I also bought a cheap back-up remote off the net, cheaper than many traditional universal remotes - though it's worth noting only one remote an be paired to the TV at a time. (Oh and of course, worst case, my samsung phone can also be used as a remote)

Setup was pretty easy. On the remote,I clicked the middle home button and left arrowed to 'settings' and set my picture to 'standard' after viewing picture options. Then went to 'expert settings' at the bottom and tweaked the 'brightness, contrast, color', etc... to my eye. The picture was very good but would darken after a few minutes of viewing. I checked 'settings', went to 'system', and then went to 'eco solutions' where I turned off 'Energy saving mode' which fixed the problem. The blacks are very well detailed on this set giving you a high end view. I will connect it to my wifi later for any possible software performance updates and program viewing of course. As with any tv provider, not all channels are broadcast with optimum clarity, but this tv compensates well. Happy Viewing.

Just got this and I'm very impressed! I read all the reviews before buying it so I was not surprised how awesome the picture looked but what pleasantly surprised me was the audio! I always buy Samsung but this particular model sounds so much better while I am playing Xbox, the sounds and explosions in battlefield one and call of duty really add to the overall experience. However I did find a few annoying glitches. I am not sure if evey set is like this or just mine but I have a Roku, a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox one and when I turn off the Xbox or PlayStation it goes back to the Roku even though i click on live TV, it often goes back and forth between the two. It's not a huge problem but just annoying and it should not do that and sometimes it doesn't. Not sure what's wrong. Maybe because i don't have a cable box hooked up to it and my Roku us in the HDMI slot so it wants to go to HDMI 1 thinking that's where my cable is? So perhaps you won't experience this.. Bottom line for the money and value it can't be beat. My advice buy it!

The unpacking and set up was very easy and user friendly. Extremely light weight of the unit allowed for single person wall mounting. Picture is great quality. The smart tv features are easy to use from the tv remote.

This tv was purchased so the kids would have a separate tv to play xbox one and watch kids programming. Easy to set up. Great color and clarity. Chose 4k for Xbox one 4k compatibility. Great smart tv for the price.

This TV is just bresth taking. The Its super light, easy to install on walll brackets. Has many unique settings to link up to my Galaxy S6. Got this TV through and awesome deal, thanks to the working staff there.

I have always been loyal to Samsung TV's. I might have strayed to LG once or twice, but soon sold them and went back to Samsung! I didn't want to spend too much on a garage TV and was considering a Insignia that was on sale. But as soon as I was able to see the crisp 4K enhanced picture of the Samsung and the Insignia at the same time, the extra $60 made it a no contest deal! After getting it home and on the articulating wall mount in my garage and getting my network setup on the Samsung I was able to enjoy movies and video from my media PC as well as my media rendering DirecTv DVR's. Along with my off air digital antenna the picture quality is outstanding for the price! This purchase now makes me the proud owner of 6 Samsung TV's. Two plasma's, Two LCD's and two LED's and I couldn't be happier!
