Picture quality is outstanding on this tv. Upgraded to a larger screen size, extremely happy w the purchase. Bought it on sale, got a good deal. Remote is kind of weird to get used to at first. Easy hook up.

Got the TV, set it up easily. It works great. This TV is lighter and fits the space allocated for it quite nicely. As a smart TV it gives you many options, some of which people concerned with privacy might not take to.
Downsize - don't get some of my normal channels are not clear. I don't like the remote control. The guide is extremely laggy and takes forever to page through available channels.

Really nice picture on my PS4 pro and Xbox one s . I like the remote very simple to use. Tv is light easy to move around brilliant colors . The only problem I have with this Tv is it doesn't have hdr10 support for whatever reason other than that is a great little tv.

Although the Samsung 6 Series is not quite as sharp as the Samsung 8 SUHD, which we also have, the picture is nevertheless excellent and noticeably better than on our previous HDTV thanks to the built-in upscaling. It is extraordinarily easy to set up, easy to fine-tune picture and sound if you're so inclined, and deserves the "Smart TV" description. We have FIOS and there are some functions for which the FIOS remote is necessary, e.g., fast forwarding 30 seconds through commercials and such on DVR'd programs, but for the most part the Samsung remote is easy to use and works fine. We also looked at comparable SONY TV's but concluded that the Samsung was a better value.

This is my third Samsung TV but first 4k TV; the picture quality is amazing and well worth the extra cost compared to 1080p. TV is very lightweight and easy to wall mount. Highly recommended.

This tv is pretty good. It is was easy to set up and it readily detected the wifi signal from another part of the house. Images are sharp. It was easily installed on a standard wall mount. The audio is also fine for basic listening although I may eventually add a sound bar. Overall, this is an adequate unit for me.
I have some minor grumbles:
Glare: The screen reflects more ambient light than I expected from reviews, so I tend to watch in the dark or with lights only illuminated on either side of the unit rather than near the viewer's area, where the reflected glare makes viewing annoying, at best.
GUI: I find the interface to be less user friendly or intuitive than another slightly older Samsung I have. This is a subjective, personal preference and perhaps just a result of negative transfer from being accustomed to the other interface.

I have had this television for over a year and love it! I purchased it because it has the smart hub, which is more extensive than the other manufactures. It also has an excellent picture, works with my mobile phone and is just easy to use. I don't have to purchase additional gadgets to do streaming. The only thing I didn't like was no manual to use for setup or inquiries. The manual can be accessed through the television but you have to know how to get to it or, like me, accidentally find it. However, we know that manufacturers no longer provide a physical users manual and, often when they do, directions are not clear.

I purchased my Samsung - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV a little over a year ago after my much smaller bedroom tv died on me.
It is a great size for viewing in my bedroom. I originally planned to hang it above my dresser, but changed my mind because I like it the heighth it is on one of my dressers. It was super easy to set up, the screen pretty much walked me through the process. The sound is very good, I usually have it around 8-10. It is able to be MUCH louder though. The picture...is decent/good. Some shows/movies/whatever look really good, but enough of them are noticeably annoying enough that some people would not be happy. This could very well be the show or a wi-fi problem (maybe?) so I was kind of hesitant to mention it.
My only actual complaint is the remote control. It's sleek, shiny and pretty, but it doesn't have button numbers on it so I can't just hit "4" or whatever. I either have to hit the "123" button and then press more buttons while looking at the tv screen, or push the "CH" button on the remote to pull up the guide and then find my channel to select it. Also using it to control my blue ray/dvd player requires more button pushing than most remote control designs. BUT it is a very pretty remote in appearance and does the job.

The picture is excellent. Setup went well. Setup directions could be slightly improved but are generally good. Stand is rigid but should be changed to allow swiveling of TV screen. Channel number entry to go to a numbered channel is cumbersome.

not the fault of the TV. as for cable input, even upscaled, not so groovy but tolerable. some images are ridgy around them, meaming line details such as grills on automobiles have movement. NOW FOR ANY VIDEO.......YIOU TUBE AND BLURAY ARE FLAWLESS. PERIOD. the only downside is the soap opera effect on cable. takes some getting use to. i hope with future firmware updates it might improve. because cable is upscaled, my 1080 p looked clear, but this 4k is lifelike. you need to adjust yourself to it. when cable makes new 4k set top boxes, it will be fuly flawless. no it isnt an 12000 oled, but it is a level up from any 1080 p device.it deserves five stars because im yet to see its full aspect when cable upgrades cable boxes. side angles arent the best. direct view is great. colors are great. its not HDR, but firmware helps that.

Awesome Picture & Features like 3 HDMI inputs, Component & Composite, Bluetooth Audio Out, SmartHub, 20 Watts × 2 Stereo Speakers, Very Lightweight. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is the cheap limited button remote control

The picture is sharp and bright, and the upscaling seems to do pretty well. Integration of the remote with my cable box means I don't have to use the separate cable controller. The intelligent linking to other services, like Netflix, works well. Areas for improvement are the HDMI cable and power cord locations, which I would rather have near one another than on opposite sides of the set. Audio is good, but not great. The shallow depth and light weight made the set easy to mount on the wall without help. The only downside is the shallow depth of the VESA threads.

This was my family's second Ultra HD television purchase. After being impressed by the improved picture quality on the first go-around, we decided to upgrade the television in our bedroom.
The supported smart TV features on this unit are quite impressive as is the overall picture quality. This is especially true given the sub-$500 price point. There are a couple of minor issues that prevented me from giving it a full five stars, specifically, the comparatively minimal range of configurable settings relating to the picture/video and the overall poor design and functionality of the included remote control. Having said that, the set is well worth the money and a nice introductory device for the world of UHD.

I like the quality of the picture and it was easy to set up. The only thing I don't care for is the remote because it has no numbers. You have to aim remote at screen, select numbers by arrowing back and forth.

Sharp picture, easy configuration, good sound, universal remote. Remote quits working once in a while. Removing batteries and putting them back in resolves the issue. Maybe the reason this was open box sale.

We had a bargain brand TV in the bedroom that badly needed replacement. We opted for this so that we can get a lot of the internet based features without using a second device.
It's a great TV, and the price is really great. I realize it's not the "latest and greatest", but considering it's not a main room TV, it's fantastic. Great picture, easy to use features for the Netflix, etc.
I think for most homes, it's a bit small to be the main living room TV, but for bedrooms and dens, it's an awesome TV at a great price.
