    I don't think the picture on this Samsung 40 Inch UHD TV is as pleasing as the picture on my 4 year old Samsung 60 inch HD TV. The picture is not sharper or more defined. I also had to turn off the feature that adjusted picture brightness based on ambient room lighting. The picture became much too dark.

      The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out.
