no rca audio outputs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The tv has a great picture, you just can't hardly hook it up to your stereo or headphones. The only audio output is optical, so i had to go buy an optical to rca adapter. Oh that works, but when the tv is in optical mode, you can't change the volume. So then i also need a headphone amplifier to use it with headphones. Now you would think you could use a usb to headphone adapter, but no, no, you actually can't do that either. The tv won't let you.

Do Not Buy if you want to use earphones.

I would give this an excellent rating if it had Bluetooth capability. In fact, there is not even an Audio Out capability that allows for the use of an a FM adapter to create a Bluetooth signal. And since there is no Audio Out capability, there is no way to use even regular ear phones. Amazing that, in this day and age, Samsung would build a TV set that does not allow the use of ear phones.

Something nobody mentions

It's an important something if you like to be able to watch uninterrupted programs. To better explain the issue - which seems common to many current Samsung models - you should read the contents of this thread at Samsung Community forums. Worst Customer Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased the TV at Best Buy, but they were out of stock, so the TV was shipped to us as we live almost 2hrs away. When the TV arrived, there was a crack in the screen. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer "service" to get a shipping label. However, the only way they will replace the TV is if we take it back to the store where it was purchased. I explained that we live 2hrs away, but that didn't matter, "it's company policy". Needless to say, I will never do business with Best Buy again after this lack of service. They are losing a customer over a shipping label. Best Buy most likely spent more money paying their employees to be on the phone over this issue than what it would cost them in shipping the TV. The TV may be a good TV, this review is a reflection of Best Buy and their horrible service.

Good for TV and Movies, but...

Makes multiplayer gaming an impossibility. Otherwise a great tv.

Open Box "Excellent?"

In my opinion a mark that goes about 20" the length of the screen and about 8" wide does not warrant the term "excellent." This item should have NEVER been offered for sale again. Now I am going to have to take it back and more then likely get it repaired to BB satisfaction and not mine.

Power Capacitor...... One day out of Warranty...

I bought this 40" UHD Smart TV 6Series for $750... One day outside of it's one year warranty it goes out on me. It's not receiving any power at all and there's nothing I can do to get it fixed unless I pay a repair man. One day out of warranty... Really????

Broke TV

Enjoyed spending 3 hours with customer service!!! Then was told to drive 1.5 hrs to get new tv!!! Thanks for taking care of your customers!!!

Arrived damaged
