As advertised - almost purchased the one active one but this was such a great price and frankly i don't mis what the other had to offer at additional $170.00. This is such an upgrade from the picture i got off my last Samsung Smart LED TV. 4k UHD makes a difference obviously for 4K programming - but 1080p as well. This is my experience..

This 4k TV looks fantastic! The detail is great, and for the price I got it, it was definitely a good deal. It had everything I needed, A/V for my retro consoles, and 3 HDMI ports for my recent consoles, and with features that are bonuses such as the smart TV capability. Everything with the TV met my needs and blew away my expectations.

This is our first flat screen tv. It was an added bonus that it is a Smart tv. We really enjoy viewing movies and shows on it and even streaming from the internet. Color is great. Pretty easy to figure out how to use. I'm sure we aren't even tapping into a 1/10 of what it can do. But for us it was a great improvement to our tv viewing.

This TV has great picture and sound. The setup was easy.

Great TV, easy to use. I like how the remote is small (who needs those numbers anyway?). Minus one star for having to reset the TV every so often when YouTube refuses to sync to my phone.

I got this tv about a year ago and haven’t had many problems with it. Only issue is that it will sometimes freeze and then turn off. Happens maybe once every few months. Not sure why?

My first Samsung TV. Always been a Sony man. Have a 2015 Sony 850 55 Series that is excellent 4K. This 40 series SS is vivid and brilliant. Audio is also very good. The panel exhibits amazing depth of field. This is the basic level 4k. I can't imagine their UHD 4k being any more incredible. The best electronics buy ever for $300!

Awesome TV, great picture, excellent sound, good price

This tv has an excellent picture and great features, however sometimes it hangs when you press the remote.

Black Friday deal. Went to store and couldn't find this TV and no one seemed to know how to help. Ordered online on my phone in the store. Got a email conformation 5 minutes later and picked up tv at store pick up crazy LOL.The tv is great the picture and sounds quality is great. For less than $300.00 what a deal thanks Best Buy.

Great price and great picture cuality 4k looks amazing

I have wanted a UHDTV for a long time. Bought this during Black Friday and got for a good price. Overall, it is a good TV. It is not that easy to get everything set up as far as working with my sound system, cable remote, etc. So the learning curve can be a bit challenging. Still trying to figure everything out and trying to get all the proper hookups. Do not spend the money on UHD HDMI cables. Not needed. Works just fine with good quality HDMI cables.

Easy setup and a fairly intuitive remote that's easy to use. I discovered, however, that the unit would not communicate with my 13 year old Cable Set-Top-Box. My cable service privider veryquickly supplied (next day delivery) a modern unit which solved the problem. After 4 weeks of ownership my family is completely satisfied.

This TV was easy to set up and pretty easy to learn about most of the features. I had a little trouble figuring out the volume control on the remote. Had some stuttering issues, but after talking to Samsung (responded quickly after I made a request via the TV) I switched to a better HDMI cable and have had no issues since.
