Awesome tv...crisp image..........................

I bought this tv on Black Friday and it was an amazing deal for a 4K 40inch Samsung. Nothing compared.

Setup was easy out-of-the-box. Took a while for some of the apps to update. For example, Amazon Video.

I truly appreciate the various picture presets and the ease in which I was able to turn off the Motion Rate 120 to arrive at a more cinematic picture. As a filmmaker, motion smooting / clearscan features drive me nuts. I was able to set up this TV quickly to a picture profile I really enjoy. Also, the price was right.

I'm wAiting to see the difference in the 4K vs the 1080p. I need to get the tv hooked up to hi eff.

Picture quality Is OK. Smart features are awesome. HDR is sub par but still better than last year.

Very good quality, but slows down after a while...

SOlid tv, have yet been able to really use 4k but the little i've witnessed has been nice so far.

So this TV is great quality of picture and all, but in general I am not a fan of the Samsung app store... you can't get most of the apps that are on a Roku. If their TV's had access to most of those apps it wouldn't be bad. Limited apps that are useful in US. I have to buy a Roku / Amazon Fire device on top of my Smart TV.. not really the point.

I feel bad for anyone who doesn't get this set or better. There are tons of sets out there that are 1080P, or fake 4Khat cost more, I see this set as the new benchmark. However for a 40" it seems a big on the small side. It has a lot of features. I got mine for $300 around Black Friday and have 0 regrets.

For starting off with a 4K tv I was happy with my purchase, it's great quality and was on sale.

I would recommend this tv to anyone. Very happy with he picture wuality as well as the apps.

As of this review, we've had the TV for about six months and everything is working well. The HD quality is nice and we really like the size. The app options aren't the greatest, and a lot are not interesting/product placement. Samsung Mobile TV is cool; recommend checking out this TV if you own a Samsung smartphone/tablet/etc. (Your mobile device might be able to connect wirelessly to use the TV as a display).

Purchased on sale for $299.00. Picture quality is ok. The LCD panel has obvious defects. Multiple circular white (back light bleeding) jagged lines throughout the entire screen. This shows up in dark scenes. The Wi-Fi speed is very good for streaming HD content. (Note: I have over 200 mbps wifi service thus your experience may differ) Wi-Fi connection stops working after several hours of use. Possibly the 4k upscaling chip overheating as turning the tv off for half hour or so and it will generally resume operating normally. This would be a problem for most all but I merely start casting to the tv via my smartphone or pc. Which indicates it is probably not the wifi chip Seriously thinking about returning it but this 6290 model is no longer available. Unlike other Samsung models this is the lowest end model and though certain features appear in the settings menu(s) but they are disabled. Research reflects that these features are not available with this model. Do not confuse features that are not available with features that are disabled when you change certain settings. I may just convert this to a large PC monitor as the text is very sharp.

Good picture. Set up was fairly easy. Use tv for satellite, Wii and Netflix. No complaints.

TV was easy to set up and place. The picture quality is pretty good for a TV of this price.

Love this tv or my office. Use it as a gaming monitor for my xbox one and PC. Very happy.

I have this set up in my office as my main monitor for my CAD PC. Resolution and colors are fantastic. I've even tried some gaming on it as well. There are several good websites that help you tweak the settings for use as a PC monitor. For the price, this is an excellent buy for use as a monitor.

The 4K content I've watched on the YouTube and Amazon apps looked really good. As a computer monitor, the TV supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160, which gave me a lot of desktop real estate for all the different programs I use. For console gaming, it supports HDR10. Without a PS4 Pro or XBOX One S, I haven't been able to view this feature in action, but it's there. All in all, I am very pleased with this TV.
