This tv came with so many channels that are pre- programmed, the picture quality is perfect and it's very easy to add apps. The lighting on the screen automatically adjusts based on the lighting in the room. It's very easy to operate the different menus and remote.

Bought this to replace a 10 year old Sony 32" 720P TV that died. It cost half the price of the Sony and weighs half as much as well. The picture looks great, especially with my Blu-ray movies. The automatic light detection made the picture too dark at night for my tastes so I turned it off, as suggested by the manual. My Verizon cable box turns the TV on and off but it would turn itself on again and I would use the TV remote to turn it off. I watched a video on how to correct this using the settings menu and now it works fine. There are no buttons on the TV so if you lose the remote, or it breaks, you will have limited use of the TV until you replace it. It's a smart TV and I downloaded the HBOMAX app since it wasn't preloaded like Netflix and Hulu. It does take a little time to open the app but not too long as to be annoying. There is no HDR but the picture looks good to me anyway. Overall, I am happy with it so far and you can't beat the price.

Love having the SMART TV. The picture is clear. It was easy to set up. We were suppose to have 3 months free of Apple TV, but we could not get the subscription to set up. I think this TV is a good buy for the money. I would recommend this TV.

GREAT TV. I could have gone much cheaper for a bigger size, but I could only fit a 40" in the place I was putting it. However, the quality is 2nd to none.

TV works well with good picture. The only bothersome point is you can only advance the volume with the remote by repetitive clicking rather than holding volume tab down.

Initially, we were looking at a lower-end television for our shop. Upon speaking about the pros and cons with a Best Buy rep via phone, we were quickly sold on the Samsung. Best decision we could have made. Glorious picture, great features, simple and easy set-up.

Loving my new Samsung!! Great picture, good quality, color great. Very glad when I decided to get bigger tv for my bedroom that I chose Samsung 40 inch. I owned a 24 inch older Samsung before and was very pleased with that as well.

I purchased the Samsung 40 inch Series 5 Smart TV a few weeks ago. Its intended purpose was to place it in my summer cottage so I no longer had to squint to see the screen. As a 73 year old I needed a TV that helped me pretend I was in a movie theater while viewing movies, as well being able to enjoy daily viewing. This TV does just that..wonderfully clear picture, easily seen, thin sized ….set up was a bit tricky , however my tech savvy nephew did all that for me. I am more than satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone !

Love this Samsung tv we purchased for outside and its worked like a champ. Its been outside for roughly one year and still works and the pictures comes out very clear. ' The apps to the tv are easy to download and use

Excellent pictured and outstanding price point! Zero issues as always with my Samsungs. 7 Tvs and all going strong. Oldest is 10 years old and not 1 pixel missing. Samsung is the best!

The resent purchase of Samson 40" TV I bought is quite a bit more than I expected from a TV. Ease of set up and adjusting to my choices of settings was easy. Great clarity and sound control. In store employee help was excellent and polite.

When we saw this deal we decided to add another to our bedroom. It's size is perfect and the price was reasonable.Picture quality is great, easy to use. Sales person was great in giving information on this product considering it wasn't what we'd gone into store for.

Exactly what I've always expected from Samsung televisions. Great picture, super lightweight for smaller wall mounts. Wifi set was simple, found out about Samsung plus TV (which is free) Great product! Buying a 50" now for the bedroom.

I have several Samsung TVs and this one is for our bedroom. The picture quality is great, not as good as my 4K QLEDs obviously but it’s MUCH cheaper. I wish the processor was a little faster when using the smart TV functions and I preferred the super simple remote of the higher end models. For the price you can’t beat it though!

Love our new TV! Perfect size for our bedroom to fit on our tall dresser and still give us maximum picture. Beautiful picture, great sound and all the wonderful smart TN features. Great choice!
