Pros: Very good picture quality for a HD TV in this price range. Sound is also pretty good. Cons: Do NOT buy this TV if you want to stream HULU w/o the need to add a ROKU or Fire TV Stick. This model comes with preloaded apps like Netflix, YouTubeTV, Disney, Amazon Prime and a few others. If your preferred streaming app isn't preloaded you cannot access it native through the TV. Also, the app loading time (e.g., YouTubeTV) is VERY SLOW so when you turn your TV on it may take up to a minute or two (or longer?) to view your app. Very frustrating to experience this since I have purchased earlier Samsung TV models and have NOT had any of these problems! You would think newer Samsung models would only support more features and apps and have a better streaming app viewing experience, NOT LESS features and WORSE viewing! Apparently Samsung is in some type of brawl with HULU, so if/when it ever gets resolved I suggest you steer clear of Samsung IF you want to watch HULU stream natively through this model TV. I bought this TV and now returning it for the above reasons.

Love my 40" Samsung. I previously bought a 32" on a black friday 2 years ago from best buy, and decided it's time to upgrade to a 40" smart TV. This time I bought it on a cyber monday with a great price. Samsung never disappoint me and you will not regret it.

Clear picture & sound, but trying to get out of Samsung and just click on the other streaming apps isn't easy. I'm thinking about getting a Roku device for this TV, hoping to circumvent the Samsung software every time I turn it on - otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Good Smart TV. Some of the plastic didn't come off on the edge when I was hooking up and cant get it to come off but does not affect picture. Seems to have pretty clear picture. Easy to use and set up for the most part.

I purchased this tele because my other one, which was 2 years old, blew up! I love this new television. My son helped me to hook it up. I could have done it but he was visiting so he helped. The picture is excellent and it has lots of great features!!

I have not heard one complaint about this tv. All is well. This tv has gone to college and it will learn like the rest of the student body. Thank you very much. Have a good day.

Great picture for the price. Geek Squad mounted the TV in a corner on the wall using a bracket, connected my new media player and set both electronics up. Best Buy and Geek Squad made the whole process simple and easy.

Best budget tv there is, it’s not top of the line but it does everything needed and looks good. Great for guest rooms etc

We bought this TV for a good price. The picture is great and the sound is very good. We are able to get the apps for alll our streaming services, too!

Delighted to have this amazing TV because it fits perfectly in my kitchen as a space saver, very easy to set up to Wi-Fi too.

We needed a new tv for the bedroom and this is a perfect size. With it being a smart tv, once we put in all the passwords, it was so nice being able to bounce fromPrime to Netflix to regular cable tv. The pic quality is great for such a relatively small tv.

I got this tv for the bedroom to replace a smaller unit. It was very easy to set up and connect to the Dish Joe and I am not a tech, The picture quality is very good as is the sound. I would recommend this television based on my experience.

My old tv wasn’t working well any more, and I wanted a larger one. Consumer Reports rated this 40” Samsung very high, so I got it. I am very pleased with it; I love the flat screen, color is good, and sound is great too. I would recommend this tv.

Samesung TV is excellent. I can watch many channels free of charge thanks to Samsung TV Plus. Delivery was also good and fast.

I am very happy with this TV. Easy to use. Great picture quality. The only slight issue is that when I watch it from the side from my kitchen the color quality deteriorates and becomes very light. But when I'm sitting in front of it, it's perfect.
