Son I never knew Samsung’s tv plus gives you access to literally an entire catalog of live tv including MTV to give you an idea of what I’ve channels. Requires internet and a Samsung account. Picture is beautiful and very very bright. Almost too bright like in between night and waking up and it still being dark you want the ambient light setting enabled so it dims depending on the lighting around. All around can’t go wrong with this TV for this price too.

This was an early Christmas present to my wife and me. Our 15 year old wall-mounted 37" TV finally died of power switch failure. The new 40" set has a fantastic picture, great sound, and allowed us to connect to the DVR box. Geek Squad support was outstanding; about one hour to hang the wall support then mount the new set. Geek member showed us how to make all the "bells and whistles" work.

Love Samsung - great tv and color for the money. Samsung gives you rich black colors. Smart tv gives good access to key apps.

Samsung 40" Class 5 Series LED Full HD Smart Tizen TV is the perfect size for the bedroom. It was easy to set up and the picture is dazzling. Bought a service contract, but no issues yet.

A superb value for the money. This was an open box special but you wouldn't know that from how it plays and how easy it was to set up. I don't think I'd ever buy anything but Samsung any place but Best Buy ever again!

Tv has really great picture quality. It gets really loud too and I have it in a big basement. I really like how you can access the apps through the home button and it comes with free channels that are pretty cool. This is also my first new tv in years so previously I had to cast from my phone, so I’m glad I don’t have to do that anymore. For some reason though i still have to cast Hulu but that may just be me not knowing what I’m doing.

Purchased this as a gift for my in-laws. Works well. Smart functions work very well as well. Not 4k, but good picture.
