PROS: Great Cyber Monday price. Connecting to wifi was easy. As expected it delivers a great Samsung quality Full HD picture. Color is good right out of the box but using the Natural color setting is perfect for our particular viewing set up. The 20W speaker output is more than adequate for a small room but we also bought a Samsung All-in-One sound bar with bluetooth music mode. We use the included optical out cable for the tv sound and that allows us to also pair the speaker with two different iPhones for streaming audio. CONS: The Smart Hub is pretty clunky. Also this model (at least from the Best Buy inventory that ours came from) does not have the Hulu app built-in nor can it be downloaded within the hub. We spent time on the phone with Samsung who sent us to Best Buy and Hulu tech support. All reps were great, but baffled by the issue and couldn't find or force the app to download remotely. We are a high speed Xfinity internet only home. No TV service. So our work around is simple and perfect for us. We only use the hub via Samsung remote for switching between inputs sources (a Chromecast and a Leaf antenna). We use the Leaf and Samsung remote to watch local broadcast tv. For all of our streaming subscriptions we cast from an old unused iPhone 7 Plus like a dedicated casting remote. Switching between apps as well as app navigation and interaction (volume, pausing, rewinding, fast forward, etc) is superior and we use mobile app data saver options to boot!

I'm not happy with the TV because it is not a full screen and the sales person had told me that it was. And now I don't know what to.do

Spent hours getting TV set up and programmed only to discover that the plastic frame around screen is defective causing a white light to appear at top of picture.

Back plane inoperative. Jacks exist but no signal out on RCA jacks. Picture just Ok. I am not impressed. Bought the Samsung name. Should have went with Visio

I’m reviewing this after 4 weeks of purchase. Unit is very light, which made it easy to mount on to my existing wall support. This replaced a 32” Sony and it displays colors better and with more definiton. The setup was simple once I got the hang of it, which took about 20-30 minutes. I use the autodim setting which works really good when I reduce the lighting levels. I use it mostly for wiresless streaming thru my router. It scanned the air channels just fine and I can watch all the local channels without a problem. The only drawback is it doesn’t have bluetooth so I can’t use my earbuds.

Perfect Size for My Space - Samsung 40-Inch N5300 I recently purchased the Samsung 40-inch N5300 TV, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This TV is the perfect size for my living room, striking just the right balance without overwhelming the space. At 40 inches, it fits comfortably in the room, offering an immersive viewing experience without feeling too large or intrusive. One of the features I appreciate is the SmartView. It makes connecting my devices a breeze, allowing me to mirror content seamlessly from my phone or tablet. While it doesn't have Bluetooth, the SmartView feature more than makes up for it, giving me all the connectivity I need. I also really like the design, especially the borders around the screen. They add a bit of style and structure to the TV, which I prefer over the newer bezel-less designs. I previously had a 43-inch TV, but it dominated the room too much. For me, 40 inches is just right. I wouldn’t want to go any larger because I feel a TV above 40 inches overwhelms the space. This 40-inch TV strikes the perfect balance, and I’m very pleased with it.

I bought the 2019 40" Samsung TV instead of the 2025 model. I have bought Samsung TVs for over 20 years. They have always performed excellent. I have notice that in the past couple of the years, the newer versions had used inferior components. I had bought a 2025 55" Samsung and had to return it because the picture was not good. Having that information in mind, i bought the older 2019 40 ". I'm glad I did. The picture is excellent and the smart features work perfectly.

Beautiful picture, easy to set up, a great smart tv. By far the best tv's I have owned since I have homes and rentals, with different sizes and ages of Samsung TV's. I have had other major tv brands which do not compare! This is my newest Samsung Smart TV, which has the great attributes of the bigger sizes that I have. I will never take the chance on another brand again, they are that good. Oh and the price ranges are great!

The sound is decent for a TV this size, though I’d recommend a soundbar if you want a more immersive experience. Overall, this is a solid, budget-friendly smart TV from a brand I trust. Great for smaller spaces, guest rooms, or even as a second TV. Highly recommend!

(easy set-up) Out of the box on the wall and watching in just minutes. (light weight) My husband couldn't help me put it on the wall because of a wrist injury, I was surprised at how effortless it was when I mounted it on the wall. ( no cable needed) We had Plenty of extremely clear channels right out of the box before before attaching an antenna the next day. (extra Smart) in just minutes we were signed into Netflix and Prime to watch our movies.

I’ve had this tv for 6 years I bought it in 2014 for my bedroom when it was new. It’s been a great tv I love this thing but it’s become pretty frustrating watching Hulu I can’t uninstall and reinstall apps on this tv so Hulu blacks out on me (goes in and out on some shows) and in order to fix the issue Hulu says I have to uninstall their app and reinstall. I’ve also noticed it doesn’t play clips of the shows or movies like my phone does or the newer TVs do on Netflix like the tv I have in my living room just small things I’ve started to notice over the past year. I think it’s just getting outdated and newer TVs are starting to surpass it. If you want a good cheap tv that works great for kids room or bedroom this one is perfect just know there are small things that you will notice compared to more updated TVs that is the only reason I took off a star but if this review was made 6 years ago when it was still a brand new tv it would have been full stars because it was up to date with the time. Picture and sound are great even for now and it will last years to come, mine has.

We’ve had this TV for just over a month now. I’m no electronics expert, but I like everything about it so far. Out of the box, it was easy to set up, hook up, and connect to the internet. The on-screen apps and controls are easy to understand and use. The sound quality is perfect for what I’m using it for. The picture quality is fantastic in any light level, due to the pre-programmed automatic screen lighting adjustments. The only thing I didn’t care for (minor) is the size of the remote. It’s small with small buttons, which are difficult for me to manipulate with my arthritis. However, I didn’t count this as a major issue because it applies to almost all electronics produced these days. I was able to easily program it to a universal remote I bought previously that’s made specifically for my situation. Best Buy had the best price and had curbside pickup delivered right to my vehicle due to the COVID-19 situation. In, out, contactless! Good deal all around!

I got this for a relative that has mobility problems. It is the perfect size for a bedroom and easy to use. Color and sound are good for this type of tv. He thinks I spent a fortune.

I went to best buy to buy 1 tv but this tv and another of the same was being sold for the price of 1. So I purchased it. It's no bells and whistles but quality and sound are more than enough. It has video game mode which works perfectly with the PS4 Pro for 4k gaming. This is a smart TV and the remote control was missing so I can't speak on the remote. I find that the wireless often goes out on it but I can connect an ethernet cable to it. I love that it has apple airplay built into the tv (which was a hidden surprise). I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my child. So far no complaints other than the WiFi dropping constantly. I own another samsung tv and one thing I see that is different is that it doesn't have bluetooth built in. One thing I like about this tv is the fact that I can adjust the display brightness so at night the tv isn't so bright. The colors on the tv is also nice (for the price)

Really clear picture and like the lightweight of this tv. I was able to attach it easily to a different base so I could place it on a narrower table. I had a 15 year old 32 inch Samsung and this tv is the same size since the older models weren’t full screen. Easy setup, automatically scanned my antenna channels since I don’t have cable. Connected seamlessly to my WiFi network and am enjoying the included Samsung channels.
