I started with an Insignia, which are nice. I own another plain one and it's a good picture and very reliable. I found the Samsung to be a better choice. I seemed " smarter" about remembering where it left off and I found it needed less directive. I thought the default picture was too bright and white if you will so after changing it to Movie, it looked much better, to me anyway.

Very happy with my new Samsung 40” TV. Bought for guest room. Simple hook up to TV service, clear picture, super easy set up. Have two other Samsung’s and both have provided a great experience with them for easy setup and a clear picture and sound. Will stay with this brand. Best delivery ever! I needed a new TV since I switched to streaming for my TV and movie access. I already have a Samsung downstairs and I am equally pleased with the new TV. Easy to use and great picture.

Purchase this item to take the place of a 32" Samsung unit that gave the black screen of death after 17years of use. This TV is used for utility viewing and for a device that cost less than $200 on sale, you won't be unhappy. Picture quality is good but not great - blacks could be darker with better contrast. Easily mounts to existing wall bracket and connect to sound system.

Our new Samsung 40" Full HD Smart TV works perfectly in our small condo. It was very easy to set up out of the box. The best part is that this Samsung has Apple TV baked in, which enables me to stream programming directly from my MacBook. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely LOVE this TV and the easy integration with my IPhone, I am not a techie person and the TV walked me through setup quickly. Picture is amazing and I even like the style of how it shuts down when I turn it off. Samsung does not disappoint and always lives up to their reputation of quality. Highly recommend and will be buying another for my guest bedroom.

Samsung TV is a great brand. HD is excellent. I also bought a Samsung sound bar. I connected the sound bar with the HDMI included. It works with my Samsung TV 40”. I did not use the Bluetooth feature. I have a very fast internet Sonic. Great purchase would recommend.

Good picture and sound. Fairly easy to set up. Makes a screeching sound occasionally when turned on. I don't care for the auto dimming and brightening. Apps loaded easily. Not sure if I would purchase again. Much happier with a 10 year old LG that still works great.

Easy to navigate. True smart tv with all the pre-installed apps that are needed. Great price and good tv overall.

Easy set-up, great pic and better sound than I expected. Interface takes some getting used to but it's possible to personalize it to your needs. Overall very pleased with the quality for the price. Also, online ordering and pick up were super easy. Would do it again.

Purchased this as an upgrade gift for my brother but he wanted our mother’s smaller TV because it fit his space, so this became a gift to our mother. She loves it. Solid Samsung quality and a great bargain on sale. Not in the same class of more expensive Samsung models, but for the price point, it’s best of class and outperforms many TVs that are In the $300-$325 range (avg actual sales price not msrp).
