Bought this for my Xbox one x and it works amazingly. I had to tweak the pictures settings for the hdr to work but other than that it is really simple to set up.

Exceeded my expectations... picture excellent and streaming seamless. Easy to mount to wall. Wireless. Would have liked to be able to use headphones.

Absolutely love the 40" Samsung 4K UHD TV with HDR! Tragically we had an incident where one of our pets knocked it to the floor after having it for just over 2 weeks and cracked the Mask, rendering it useless! Did not purchase extended warranty...and after talking with Best Buy and Samsung...neither could offer any resolve.

For the price, I am very happy with this HDTV. The colors are vibrant and bright and the controls are simple and intuitive. Love me Samsung...

I bought the TV to replace an older Samsung 1080 TV. The lack of thick borders makes it ideal for the guest room Armoire. It doesn't have some of the higher end features that other Samsung 4K TV's have but for the price it is a fantastic tv. Movies, sports, video games all look fantastic. As stated above, this is a secondary TV. I wouldnt put it in my living room or anything but great for guest rooms or your kids room especially for the price.

I am normally a PC gamer, but my buddies convinced me to get an Xbox One X so we could all play together. At the time I had a 4k gaming monitor that only supported 4k 60hz over display port, 1080p over HDMI and had no HDR. Not acceptable, of course.so, I strarted looking for a display that I could hook both my PC and Xbox to. I started researching displays online, thinking I'd have to compromise some image quality, etc if I go back to a tv from a monitor. Monitors with HDR at a decent size are way to expensive, so my search was narrowed to TV's, where the Samsung's were quickly starting to stand out for their low input lag while gaming. I went with the mu7000 over the cheaper mu6300 because of the HDR feature. I was honestly shocked at how good and detailed the picture looked. I sit about 3.5 feet from the screen and the picture is still super sharp. Not a pixel in site. I can't stress enough how much this tv looked better than my 4k monitor. Also, it does not skip a beat while gaming. No noticeable input lag or problems keeping up with fast motions. The Xbox One X games with HDR look amazing. My PC has twin gtx980 cards, and I crank up the graphic settings, this tv more than keeps up. Hulu and Netflix looks noticeably better also. I love this tv. Best display I have ever had. Hands down. The sound on this tv is awesome too! I played for about a month without a headset. This tv had very crisp sound and I could actually tell what direction the sound was coming from. Even somethin like a bullet whizzing by came across very clear left to right, or vise versa. Movies and shows sound great too. I feel no need for external speakers.

Set up was easy, about 45 minutes overall, with setting up the smart TV functions about 15 minutes of that. We have Directv and there was no problem with set up as I recall some have questioned for the Samsung Smart TV's. The picture quality is definitely a step up from a standard LCD HD TV. Have had the TV about a month and have not experienced any problems. Just watched an Ultra 4K DVD (Blade Runner 2049) for the for first time and was very impressed by the picture and sound quality. Just make sure to buy a quality 4K Ultra HD player and HDMI cables to carry 4K signal to take full advantage of what this set has to offer. For the average Joe like myself if you need a TV to put in a smaller space I certainly recommend this model. When our 65'' Mitsubishi LCD quits we won't hesitate to replace it with another Samsung 4K Ultra HD Smart TV.

The picture is stunning and the sound is incredible. Love this tv. The whole system is easy to use. It is absolutely wonderful

As others have said, its a good TV for the money. Takes a little time to adjust picture and sound but looks great when adjustments are completed. Getting used to the remote is what takes the longest as it has minimal buttons and can be voice activated. Was a little comical listening to my wife holler at it when it wouldn't listen to commands. I bought this for the SMART features to eliminate the dreaded cable box and it hooks up to WIFI and works well. Only thing I don't like is not being able to turn off sleep mode. We use our tv's for noise and it wakes us up when it goes dark and quiet after 4 hrs.

The sharpness of the picture is very very good.When the home theatre was added ,it was perfect.. Enjoying the TV watching experience to a different level !! It is light weight hence easy to shift. But installing the stand was a difficult as the instruction was not clear.

this is my 9th Samsung purchase. the quality improves with each product, TV's and phones. I read extensively prior to obtaining this TV. it has lived up to the reviews and promised features. It replaces a 6 year old TV that still worked fine. We just needed a larger screen. it is a big step forward from the old TV. the crispness of the screen is exceptional. the control is different and there is a learning curve, but it is fairly intuitive.

Just the size I wanted. Good picture quality. Easy to set up. Lightweight. So far so good, no issues.

Brilliant color! Good sound for smaller spaces without any add on speakers. Easy to assemble.

I must admit I picked the Samsung over other options in part because they offered a 40" model. Had it assembled and was channel surfing within 10 minutes of opening the box. Simple remote design, great picture and decent sound. Couldn't be happier!

Very nice tv at a decent price. The picture quality is amazing. Love the remote wich is working over bluetooth and you don't have to point it directly at a tv. I did have an issue with the remote though where it would not sync with tv so I just exchanged the whole tv with another one, but other than that love what I have.

One to the best things about Best Buy is accurate reviews. I read the reviews on this before I purchased it. They were good reviews and spot on. It's amazing that you can get a TV this good for the price. If I can set it up anyone can so that is easy too. I don't see how you could be disappointed.

The perfect size for my home office with all the smart features I need to see whatever I load into it.

I did extensive research online and in-person prior to purchasing this TV. Looking for true HDR and 4K, with features that would allow it to last as more content comes online. You can find a very helpful set of reviews at ratings.com if you are interested. I was limited to no more than 40" based on location, so that constrains your options because the very top-end screen technologies tend to be reserved for larger sets. That said, the TV is excellent on all dimensions. The fit and finish feels higher end, and the resolution/picture quality is outstanding. Sound is surprisingly robust. Also highly recommend the Samsung remote and smart interface - it works simply and effectively. I was looking for the best set I could find in a 40" form factor, and this was it when I purchased in December, 2017. Options: If you have a bit more space, you may want to consider the 43" Sony which looked like a strong option as well (similar price point).

This TV is almost exactly like the one I owned in Ecuador. The picture is excellent and I really enjoy watching programs on it. My only concern is that there are no RCA plugs for the TV, so I could not use the DVD player I normally use.
