We were looking for a new bedroom tv. This one was a bit more than we needed but we really liked the picture, The remote was a bit confusing until we learned to talk to it. We just have a small inexpensive digital antenna for over the air broadcast and I do not see how one could have a better quality picture on cable or satellite.

Great picture. Easy set up. Only issue I had is it wouldn’t recognize my Xbox one. No issue with Comcast or Xbox 360 or Wii (via component connection) but not the Xbox one. Tried every hdmi port, changed hdmi cable, the TV recognized something was connected but “no signal”. Connected it to an old Vizio and an old Samsung - no problem and the Xbox worked. So I had no clue why this new TV couldn’t get a signal while two older TVs could. Other than that issue, would have rated it a 5

Purchased this unit on sale for our bonus room over the garage. Excellent picture quality and good sound. Not theater quality sound yet very good but we are going to buy a sound bar to supplement the system. The TV is also hooked up to a Nintendo Switch and Xbox One S and the video, movie and game quality is outstanding.

The Samsung television has all the things I been looking for...quality picture, Netflix...etc. great pick.

I bought this TV because it was the highest rated among the 4K TV's in the 43-inch size. A beautiful picture, easy set-up. And it only weighs 22 pounds so I can lift and move it by myself.

Our not-quite-3-years-old LG died (the LED backlight lenses fell off!), and some quick research Consumers Reports suggested this Samsung might make a suitable replacement. Best Buy had good pricing, had the set in stock at a nearby store, and within hours I was back up and running. Love this set and really like the remote - minimalist with many fewer buttons but just as much control. Great picture quality with both 4K and 1080 sources. We do digital OTA for local stations, and the OTA tuner on the Samsung is noticeably better - we're pulling more stations with the same antenna.

This is our first smart TV so we haven't taken advantage of those features yet. The picture quality is clear and bright. I wanted a quality brand that will last so I chose Samsung. Never buying a Vizio again. The Vizio started showing large circular gray spots on the screen after 5 years normal use. I hope this lasts longer. The speaker is acceptable in the bedroom. You will definitely need to add speakers for a living room. Overall satisfied.

This was a great TV for the price. The setup was easy. The picture is excellent. We really like the TV. It has two HDMI inputs and one or two more would have been nice to have. The sound leaves a little to be desired but a Samsung sound bar and woofer made our living room sound like the theater.

TV seems to be great so far. Easy to setup. Great picture and sound. The remote control leaves a lot to be desired. It’s too small and complicated to figure out. I had to take it back to the store to get it open to install the batteries. Great TV, pretty lame remote.

We have been watching this Samsung TV for about 2 months LOVE IT. We have an older 1080 Sony but this Samsung just walks all over the older TV much better picture, better sound, like the Bluetooth great at night for headphones, are anytime Buy it you will like it

Purchased this TV mainly for the ratings on Consumer Reports. Up to this moment I am very satisfied with it. The picture resolution is astounding. The clarity and sharpness on the screen is superb. The color saturation and vividness is breathtaking when watching content either on line streaming(i. e. Netflix) or over the air channels that transmit in Ultra HD 4K. The picture quality is so intense that it sometimes feel like you are watching a 3D presentation. Even when watching old black and white media that has been shot on film. Please be advised that if a channel is not transmitting in HD you will note it immediately and the difference is quite jarring. The unit is Wi Fi capable and easy to setup. The viewing angle is also very good from a wide range of positions. To get the best overall performance of the set I started out with putting all the settings as recommended by the Consumer Reports Optimized Picture Settings, then adjusted a couple of settings for personal preference and room dynamics, such as ambient lighting, etc.. Again, the projected images on the screen in HD is phenomenal. This TV also has an excellent sound quality. Although I use a soundbar, without it it still has a very good, clear sound production and easy to understand dialogue with the built-in speakers. Set has 3 HDMI inputs, 1 shared Componet/Composite video input and 2 USB ports.There are two negatives: One- The setup instructions are very basic with sparse writing and confusing diagrams/drawings. Two- weird non intuitive slim remote control. The volume- channel buttons toggle forward or backward to change and pressing them brings up different menus. Also the remote is not lighted, so in the dark it nearly impossible to operate. Otherwise, a reasonably priced, excellent TV with astounding picture quality.

Clear, sharp images, and surprisingly good sound all in one unit. Great Black Friday pricing, so a good deal overall. Great HD resolution. However, one big disappointment is the blurring that occurs in fast-moving images. But didn't want to pay the additional $800.00 (3X as much!!) for the 43 inch set which Samsung now markets with High Dynamic Range that presumably resolves this issue.

This is my first HDTV and I am loving the experience! This TV was a great choice and I am happy that I decided to go with the 4K technology for when it is more readily available. I also am very happy that it is a smart TV. A smart TV was a smart choice for me!

Good price, Easy setup and great picture. Bought this for my kids room and she loves it. Apps are easy to use and the picture quality and color are great.

This is my second purchase of this TV because my son wanted a smart TV. My first purchase was for myself and it was an upgrade from a Vizio smart TV and this Samsung is 100x better! I highly recommend this TV if you're looking for an inexpensive smart TV.
