Menu screens are a little slow compared to my older Samsung TV. Mounted to a TV stand and was able to mount a sound bar underneath the TV.

Great tv while it lasts..
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a great TV but it’s only been a year almost 2 years and I’ve started experiencing problems such as the screen being brighter on one side than the other, a bright light shining in the middle of the bottom, randomly turning off whilst playing a game.

Backlight Burned Out Diffuser
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed with this product. I thought Samsung was a good TV. I bought this in Nov 2019 and it stayed in the box for about six months. I have used it for a little over a year and the back light melted the diffuser. This caused half of the screen was blackout. This is going to cost over $200 to fix. For the price I paid for this TV, I might as well buy a new TV.

Dark shadowing on the screen
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv was fine until 2 mos ago. I noticed dark shadow lines appearing on the screen. Now the lines have conjoined and there is a big dark shadow on the screen. It actually makes the image on the screen harder to see. Disappointed because I've had the tv for only a year. Would not recommend.

Just bad luck.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had this tv for a year and a half. Mounted on the wall. All of a sudden, the backlight broke. 2/3 of tbe tv just dark. So surprised. Guess I just got a bad one. Was great while it worked, though.

I am very happy with this purchase and the price was right. Was easy to set up to the universal remote. The bonus was the extra apps attached to it. Would recommend to anyone.

Samsung wins again
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung did not disappoint. Picture quality is top notch, much better than I expected in this price range. Loaded with apps right out of the box. Easily connected to wireless internet. I only purchased for short term use while my other tvs were in transit during move. This ones a keeper. Much lighter and the app integration means I can put this anywhere I can plug it in.

Great bargain
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has everything someone like me needs, great picture, pretty good sound, simple home menu (easily navigate through your apps) and the capability to add arc, an additional sound bar if needed, etc. Sure some bells and whistles are missing but would I really need it for a bedroom tv?! The answer is simply no. The TV was super simple to set up, connected to the internet with ease. The curve at the back made it a little tricky to put on the wall mount but determined as I am, I made it work. Hung it up and it’s perfect. All in all, I’d highly recommend this Tv and once again Samsung does not disappoint. I’m a faithful Samsung user due to their quality high end products and this TV was no exception.

Good price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a better picture than our 7 year old flat screen. The price was right. Wished it had another hdmi port (only has 2). No printed instructions, just the built in manual accessed when you first turn it on. A little bit unclear as to what to do next. A lot of trial and error. Also it is very slow to respond to the remote.

Good TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good TV, has a decent number of apps for streaming. Great size and sound quality. However, if you are an anime watcher it doesn't have crunchyroll. Also if you are an iphone user casting abilities are subpar. I often find myself having to reconnect and sometimes the connection doesn't work at all.

Superb TV for the money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my first week with this TV I can say this 43” Samsung 6 series is a huge upgrade over my 12 year old Samsung 40” LED TV, which I had to replace because it finally started having backlight issues. LED TV design seems to have progressed a lot, much deeper blacks and better image quality. No dead pixel issues or the like, it’s a nice panel. The onboard audio is also a bit of an upgrade. The only thing I miss from my old TV is the swivel pedestal stand. I’m not a fan of the tiny legs that they include with most budget TVs now, although they do the job and it’s understandable, with so many people mounting their TV on the wall. I settled on this one after poring over Consumer Reports reviews and first returning a 55” TCL 6-series that was too bright for my wife’s eyes, even at the lowest settings, and too big for our space. As she says she wouldn’t have had a problem with this model in a 55” size. Upconversion from my Samsung 1080p Blu-ray player is great, no complaints there and I don’t see a need to pick up a 4K player anytime soon. The Smart TV OS is pretty excellent. I was using a Roku on my old TV and the only thing I miss is the Roku app for CNBC. The Samsung app for CNBC is severely lacking, so I keep my Roku plugged in for when I want CNBC. Otherwise I have Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+, Spectrum, and Vudu all working great on the TV itself (better than my old HD Roku streaming stick), snappy interface great image quality. In my town this model (a 2018 model I believe) was almost all sold out everywhere towards the middle of Super Bowl sales times. I got the last one at our Best Buy, although they had a lot of the 2019 models in stock for about $80 more at the time. Definitely a great buy at this price. My particular TV was assembled in Mexico.

Great Deal - You Won't be Sorry
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an old-timer, I continue to be amazed at the breathtaking advances in quality and performance of today's TVs. This Samsung 43" TV is outstanding, with a bright, clear picture, excellent sound, and a huge array of smart features, all in an affordable package that's is lightweight and easy to wall-mount. Is it a refernce-quality display? Of course not - but it's a perfect TV for your den / bedroom / wherever and you won't regret buying it. This is the golden age of television value - and this unit is a great example of the quality available for very reasonable prices.

A Great TV for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was on sale in a store and I ordered it to be delivered as a Christmas present for my sister. It arrived early, was well-packaged, was easy to set up, and has great color, especially for how little this TV cost. It was easy to log this tv onto my sister's wifi, and once connected it gives access to a number of free Samsung channels as well as Amazon Prime and the local free digital TV channels. We were both impressed by this tv's picture quality, how easy it was to set up, and how easy it is to use.

FANTASTIC TV- love the picture quality, extras!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having purchased a Samsung QLED class TV for our bedroom and being VERY pleased, went with this model for my office. As we have numerous Samsung products (phones, tablets), it is nice that the TVs communicate easily with the rest of the Samsung equipment we already own. As we live in an older home with plaster walls, had the BestBuy team do the install on the wall, which they did perfectly. Picture quality is incredible, and whilst I use primarily a TIVO Mini VOX on one of the HDMI inputs for most viewing, the TV does have an incredible variety of built-in apps for streaming selections, including Samsung TV, so even if you do not have cable, you can watch just about anything you want. As my office is on the second floor of our home, I have used the antenna input to connect the set to a HDTV 100 mile range over the air antenna, and am able to pick up 56 HD channels (we live in Fredericksburg, VA, and pick up stations from Richmond, Charlottesville, and the DC markets) - all with picture quality rivaling (or exceeding) what VERIZON FIOS provides! Great ability to change audio and video settings, easy controls, and quick on. Be sure to go through the process of "disabling" the privacy stuff- ALL manufacturers of SMART tvs now kind of by default have the setup to "report back" all of your viewing, internet, etc. The nice thing is that you CAN disable all of that - just follow the directions! GREAT set- pay the little bit extra for QUALITY merchandise that will last!

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is excellent with a wide viewing angle. Loads of apps available and very intuitive to use. The only drawback that I have found is the remote buttons are small and cramped together making it easy to hit the wrong button. It would also be handy if the volume and channel toggles were swapped with the navigation arrows and enter button. This is an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. If it wasn't for the remote I would give ease of use an excellent too.
