    Great Samsung TV

I've had this TV (9 months) as of writing. Very simple to add the stands (4 screws), I chose not to Wall Mount for this room. The picture is a big improvement over my 2016 Sony. This is my gaming TV, PS4 pro games saw a big jump, as did the TV, movies etc. Solid sound for basic speakers, though an inexpensive sound bar can add some bass. Pros: Price ($299) Crisp Color Depth of view, etc. Cons: None

This is my second model of this TV. The pictures is great and the factory warranty is even better. Setup was easy and Samsung’s support is top notch even for a lower model TV. Uses: PS4 gaming, computer monitor, air playing from phone, apps. Nice feature of Samsung brand is the beta of xfinity so you don’t have to buy an extra receiver to watch Live tv.

Magnificent... the best tv I have ever owned! I love the organization of the whole programming. It’s so smart! Easy to unbox and set up to play. I love the way it has tvPlus and arrives with so much tv that I don’t need cable... just antenna. It has a usb so I can look at my photos and such. So nice. It has hdmi if I need them. Very useful tv.

I have this tv mounted outside under cover. I know it won’t last for long given the outdoor conditions, but it was such a good value I will replace it in a few years if necessary. Set up was easy and intuitive, screen is bright (even outside) and sound is good. Looks great and is lightweight making mounting it a breeze. Would definitely buy this again. I am a big SAMSUNG fan - always have had good luck.

This is a nice TV for the money. The picture quality is great, plenty of apps make it easy to pull the plug on cable and it is easy to use. The remote could be bigger: the buttons are small and too close to each other. I previously purchased a larger version of this TV for another room in the house.

I wanted something in a smaller bedroom to hang on the wall. Nothing too costly and it didn't have to be too tier. It did have to have a nice picture and great smart features. This TV has met my needs. Unboxing, it was well packed and the box was in great shape, thank you best buy. The cord, remote, papers, and stand were right on top and easy to remove. The TV slid out nicely with the top piece of styrofoam and looked good. Rear mount needed spacers to level them with the curved back but not difficult at all. TV was light enough to place on the wall without another person. Set up was easy to follow, I used my Note 10+, settings from my phone transferred easily. All the streaming apps work great, from Netflix, Disney, Amazon and so on, this TV has enough computing power to operate them flawlessly. It could be faster, but it is a series 6 and it's exactly what I expected. Picture quality at is really good. It's a great budget TV for a small area for sure. I'd buy again.

Love The TV And Picture, Remote Is Poor

We really like the picture on this TV, sharp, colorful and with a wide viewing angle. However the remote that comes with this model isn't as easy to use as the remote on the Class 8 versions. We rely on many app-based providers and this multi-button remote isn't convenient. Further, the class 8 remotes have a simpler and cleaner setup and they aren't infrared which is another plus. Set up was pretty easy especially since I already had a Samsung sound bar. However the remote won't pair with our Mediacom set top cable box. If I had to make the purchase again I'd spend $100 more and go with the Samsung Class 8 model in this same size. Direct-lit, the Class 8 offers a better image with deeper blacks that don't go chalky when viewed off-angle. Overall it's amazing that this picture quality is available at an under $300 price point. If the nit picky things I mention above won't bother you I'd encourage you to consider this model. NOT JUST THIS MODEL: Four HDMI ports would be better on any TV especially if you intend to use one of them to connect a sound bar for ARC. ARC lets the TVs remote adjust and control the sound bar. This leaves 2 HDMI inputs which for us means the set top cable box and a Blu-Ray player. If the TV doesn't have the built-in apps that you use and subscribe to you'll need to use an OTT device like Roku / Chromecast / Fire Stick. So what features do you want available on your TV? ARC sound control, cable box, Blu-Ray player, or Roku/Chromecast/Fire Stick. Pick three or purchase a $90 HDMI switcher with yet another remote.

Okay WOW, I am not a pro by any stretch of the imagination, but I do have eyes and ears that work for now ( aging sucks but the alternative is worse). This is an amazing product for what it offers and for what I paid over the holidays. I am crazy about the Smart Things setup and the ability to load so many apps along with the installed ones. When it first powered up the clarity was mind-blowing and clearly the best I have ever seen in a LED TV. Just really happy with this product and the support I had from BB trying to figure out how to get a streaming service of ours to open the app ( it was a simple hard restart using the remote). Sound is very nice and for the record I may add a soundbar but I really don't think I need it ,I just have one extra. It fits nicely into our entertainment cabinet which previously held a 39" LED which was very nice but this one is top notch and well worth the purchase. I really purchased this because of the price AND the positive reviews and I did good, I did good.

Thank you Best Buy for doing Black Friday a week early. TV has a wonderful picture for the price. Keep in mind it is the 6 series and not the Q. I use it is my office for background noise and watch my car shows. Super light, hung it myself. I put the firetv stick on it. Even though it is a smart tv, I've noticed on all my Samsungs they have hiccups and some of the apps I use tend to crash do to either lack of memory in the tv or the firmware in the tv butting heads with the apps. Firestick seems to resolve all the issues. I'm sure Roku or apple tv sticks would do the same. I do not have a game console hooked to it but I'm sure the picture would be very clean and sharp. I have no complaints especially for the price.

    No analog audio output

The built-in speakers on this TV are better than some I've heard, but still not great. There is a digital fiber optic audio output, but using this output renders the volume control on the remote useless. There is no analog audio output...no pair of RCA audio outputs...not even a headphone output. In other words, if you have a set of external speakers with no way to control them with a separate remote, you'll have to get our of your chair every time you need to adjust the volume. To make matters worse, Best Buy conveniently neglects to list the lack of any sort of analog audio output in their specs. I own an old pair of amplified Bose speakers that sound great, but have no volume control. I had to buy a digital-to-analog converter just to hook them up, and I'll need to add some sort of volume controller at some point, too. Otherwise, this is a nice 4K TV with a nice interface...easy to set up with Wi-Fi to enable various "smart" features, or you can leave it turned off. It's easy to adjust display preferences with basic settings, or if you like to be more detailed, there are "expert" settings to control brightness, contrast, tint, etc.

Weirdly, this seemed to have a better picture quality than the 7 series, so I actually sought out this one despite it being older. RTINGS.com also seemed to say that the newer one was worse in many aspects, and that is a little disappointing. This is excellent as used as a PC monitor, it has a very bright and responsive game mode for this, it also uses a proper RGB pixel structure, I was looking into buying a TCL TV instead of this one, but it seems the 43" but not the 55" 5 series has RGBW pixels which looks terrible when used as a monitor. You are only ever going to get 60hz out of it, and at low brightness levels there is some flicker, but it does the basic job at a really reasonable price. Also it has a decent set of smart functions built in, and I have yet to encounter any crashes. Still the menus and the smart functions are laid out in a rather unintuitive manner. All in all, I would say it is worth a few more dollars than the TCL and LG panels at this size due to the pixel structure alone. Don't expect to be wowed by HDR and you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm still getting familiar with it. My last TV wasn't exactly Smart but my DVD player enabled it to connect to a few things I even lost touch with that. I'm a simple person having simple needs and this TV connected to my wireless WIFI and Air Antenna as well as having several accounts to Prime Video, Pandora, Tubi to name a few has supplied me with all the entertainment I need. I do have an HDMI cable if I needed for any reason to connect it to my laptop for possibly Zoom, for a bigger screen. Yes, it has dropped my WiFi a few times but there could be 20 reasons for that I love the sound and that's without any additional sound system. It does feel like I'm in a theater. It was a good price, though for$20 more I could have upgraded to a 2020 model but it was more than I needed and didn't offer one thing I did need. It was easy to assemble, program and operate. Yes, I am happy with my purchase. I was offered payments by using my credit card for Best But and that was a must.

I have purchased four Samsung tv's. I have had many different brands since the 70s. Love this 43 in. Perfect size for smaller living room. Incredibly easy set up. I am no wiz at it and I brought it up many steps and set it up by myself. Got the internet and all those other streaming things on like Netflix, firestick thing, etc. The picture is so clear it is like being in the flick. Cannot say enough. Was worth the COVID wait for the unit

Definitely getting your money's worth for a smart TV at this price point. Picture quality is perfect with sharp images and vivid colors. If this is your first Samsung though, I will say that the layout of the remote is not very user friendly and the interface does take some getting used to. Also, super close ports on the TV make it difficult to plug in two devices next to one another.

Just before Christmas we finally decided to upgrade to a smart tv. I knew Samsung was a great brand, so we decided to stick with them. I wasn't disappointed. Easy instructions helped make this super quick to setup. On screen prompts helped connect it to my wifi within minutes. The sound and picture quality is great. FYI: If you want to use an existing tv stand it should be a minimum of 35" wide to use the included support legs.
