I am coming from a LG 4K TV HERE. This one seems like a bargain tv simply because you can't download apps and you are stuck with what they give you. The plus side is the color and brightness are very good. This tv allows for you to wirelessly stream from an ANDROID PHONE and an apple phone! so you save money on a chromecast or a apple tv device. downside is you only have 2 hdmi outputs,but you can stream content like videos from a usb via usb port. Another downside is the clunkeyness of the OS and how weird the controller is. It is not easy to navigate from one place to the next, in my opinion the LG tv is better in that aspect. All in all, this is a good buy if you plan on just watching tv or having a console hooked up to it AS IT HAS ASTOUNDING VISUALS. I mainly use it for my ps4 and watch tv casted through my phone.

I bought this for the bedroom. It is the perfect size and the picture is very clear. We are enjoying the fact that we can now stream Netflix in the bedroom. Easy to set up and use.

Perfect TV size for any room in the house. Easy to set up. Easier to enjoy! However, in my opinion, the Samsung remote that’s included is not ergonomic nor user friendly and can be annoying.

I have the 43in 8 series in my bedroom (for about 2 weeks now), and I am very happy with it. I have the 55in Q6 in my living room, and while the Q6 has a more intense QLED display profile, as far as brightness and contrast, etc., this 8 series is 90% of the Q6 for far less money. Picture quality is very good (and more than sufficient for 85% of the population). It's better than the TCL and LG at similar price points, in my opinion. It is a tiny bit dimmer at the edges of the screen, as is typical with this type of TV. It's roughly 1/4" into the screen, and is almost invisible, unless you go looking for it specifically. Sound is fine for everyday viewing (nothing like a soundbar, which is a truly worthwhile investment for any TV). The speakers are not as good as what a Sony has, if that matters. I have an XBR, and the built-in speakers are better. Ultimately, it doesn't matter to me, though. The differences aren't enough to move the needle. I found the connectivity with my WiFi to be perfectly fine and hassle-free. Streams 4k with no issues and has yet to drop the connection. All the apps have been good, and I have a FireTV connected also (for Twitch viewing, since the TV doesn't have a Twitch app, which Samsung should work on). I'm using a wall mount with this, and I did notice that this 8 series uses an M8 thread for the mounts (note that some wall mounts come with M6, so a trip to the hardware store will be necessary to buy 4 screws). Had it shipped to my house via UPS and it arrived just fine (it ships in the product packaging (no additional box). The box was beat up a little bit, but the TV and other contents were fine.

Well its a TV with a really good picture at a great price! Annoyances include no power button on the unit (you must use remote), the remote itself is overly "simplified" and could use more functions (add sleep timer, it takes 13 clicks after the menu button to set the sleep timer to 60 minutes - what???) and the menu selections are simple and complex at the same time (but most TV's are these days). Not to mention "screen mirroring" from a device to the TV - you're supposed to use an app, but i still haven't figured it out. Otherwise, the TV is really good, It has a great picture and sound at a great price.

After cancelling travel plans I decided to remodel living room... Needed a medium size TV... after trying 3 other brands from local discount store because I could go in and purchase I was not satisfied. I almost gave up. I checked out this Samsung online and found it @ B. Buy 30 miles away....I paid online, pulled up and they brought it out to me. I mounted on the wall and turned it on.... instant satisfaction! A bit bright but with a few simple adjustments in user friendly menu IT POPPED! Color, Clarity and crisp sharpness are great. As good as my 70" TV in the other room that I paid over 2K for a few years ago. Factory sound isn't bad....yet it identified and paired with my sound system almost immediately perfect. It would have been 5 stars if the sound adjustment had seperate bass and treble adjustments

Great TV at a great price. Easy to set up, very light and takes up very little space. Beautiful picture! We use it with Apple TV. Turns on and gets going with ease.

The picture is really clear and crisp. The only reason I couldn’t give it a 5. The volume could be a little louder. Other than that it is a good quality tv. Would need a sound bar if your looking for good volume in your tv.

I purchased this TV for a small bedroom and it is a good size. The sound quality is good, the picture is beautiful. It was easy to set up. I have an older Samsung Smart TV and the remote on that one is easier to use even though there are more buttons. I use wiifii to stream programming since I cut the cord. We have an outside antenna to get local stations and using the existing cable we used for a our former DirecTV connection made it a breeze to hook up to this TV. Other than trying to understand how to use the remote with few buttons, I love this TV.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. The picture is always clear. The color is beautiful and quite accurate. Found it easy to install and set up.

I couldn’t be happier with this TV. Super simple setup. Amazing picture. Wide viewing angle. No problem with streaming. Fair price. It’s still wowing me after a month.

Bought this for my elderly father-in-law. It is the perfect size for the room he spends most of his time in (about 11x14). Normally I am not impressed with the volume from this slim sets, but it's more than sufficient for him and we can (unfortunately) hear it quite well in all other parts of the house. Set up was easy, and he is able to use the kind of awkward Samsung remote that these come with (although we transferred most of the functions needed to his cable remote). Color is good, it has enough inputs for his Roku, DVD, and cable box. We bought this on sale so it was a good value.

I love my new TV. One week after unboxing and very little complaints. The picture quality is greater than expected. I upgraded from.an LG where I was struggling to see images that had dark scenes; I've had no issues at all. Setup was very easy - make sure and have the smart things app downloaded it makes the process so much easier. Being a Samsung conissouer over the years I knew the sound quality was lower than my previously LG. Sound is good but if you want very powerful sound, be prepared to keep at high sound volume or invest in a sound bar. The operating system is much smoother and faster than other Samsung televisions I've had. Love voice control and also that I can control with my phone. You cannot go wrong with this unit.

This television replaced my 11-year-old 32-inch 720p Samsung set, so I expected the 4K resolution would be a noticeable upgrade. It certainly is! I think the picture is excellent, and I only made a few minor tweaks to the default settings after doing some Googling of recommended picture optimization. Setup was easy and fast. The remote seems to be somewhat polarizing, but I haven't cut the cord (yet), so I will use my cable provider's remote 99% of the time because it is much easier to control the DVR with it. Excellent picture at a great price. I highly recommend it.

I am in love with this TV. I have read some comments and I haven't had any of their problems. I can turn tv off fine and doesn't stay on. Amazing color, download application, Bluetooth. I have love hate relationship with remote. I love that you can talk commands and works amazing. I hate the size of remote too small and I think Samsung could make better other then that works great. I have apple iPhone and connected without issues and you can download Samsung application to phone use as remote and access tv settings etc. Yes even with with Apple can connect to tv.

THIS IS THE SECOND SAMSUNG I HAVE OWNED. NOTHING LASTS FOREVER ALL THE COMPANIES MAKE SURE OF THAT, THE LAST ONE LASTED 5 YEARS. I GUESS THAT'S ALL THEY LAST , JUST LIKE THE CELL PHONES, THAT LASTS UP TO 5 YEARS ALSO. THEN YOU HAVE TO REPLACE IT. THIS TV IS SHARP, CLEAR, THE COLOR IS GREAT. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN. PS JUST TO LET YOU KNOW APPLIANCES TO ALL YOU YOUNGER - ALL APPLIANCES/ TV's USE TO LAST FOR 10 20 30 40 + YEARS- NOT TODAY.......

We love this new tv! I bought this for my son's room since old old tv busted and it's beautifully clear picture and bright colors totally pop. I try to stick with Samsung products as they are good quality and easy to use, plus my phone can control our tvs and that's a nice feature as well. The tv we had before wasn't a smart tv and this one is so my son loves that. It's a bit smaller than our previous tv but you can't tell and it's a great price too! I would definitely recommend this tv!
