The 8000 series is as low as i believe one should go for a Samsung. It has a great balance of features or the price and will last you and the family for quite some time. The processers are fast than the 5 and 6 series and will not break the bank. Great for kids and elderly individuals.

I've been using Samsung TVs for a number of years now due to their features and picture quality. Each time an older TV in my home of a different brand has experienced problems - I simply replaced them with a new Samsung. I bought my first Samsung TV monitor a decade back for a computer monitor, and it still performs great. I now have three more including this newest one. The 4th of July Best Buy deal i received on it was just too hard to pass up. My last three Samsung TV purchases have the smart voice control remotes and include TV Plus with wireless Internet. All of these features have performed excellent. Pictures have been perfect on all four. The TV speakers are a little anemic, but that is easily remedied by the addition of a compatible amplifier system. The added amplifiers I have on each TV also provide for a surround sound experience that is extremely pleasing over any built-in standard TV speakers. Anyone looking for theater sound should be looking for a good sound amplifier anyway - it's just too easy to add them today, even wirelessly. This 43" Crystal UHD display even rivals my more expensive QLED Samsung. The picture and sound settings need some initial adjustment on any TV, and my Samsung TVs are no different. The difference is my Samsung controls have allowed me the settings I like and desire for good viewing and sound control. This keeps me a "happy camper" and as such, I also have many other Samsung products in my home, including Samsung cellphones and their accessories. All continue to provide reliable performance. Oh, there was one Samsung 32" QLED TV that acted up - but Samsung replaced it under warranty with a Best Buy store credit I used to replace it with a new one of the same model - it was that good I didn't want a different brand or model.

I love Samsung tv’s. They last many years. This is my second one that I’ve only had for 11 months. I’m happy with the quality. This is my first smart tv. I do have some trouble getting into Netflix sometimes. There are two ways to get into Netflix- using Netflix button on remote or selecting it on home screen. When I use button on remote it doesn’t always take you to Netflix. I will still recommend Samsung tv’s however.
