Great product. Highly recommend. Picture is great and easy setup.

I bought the Samsung 43" Class 8000 Series LED 4K TV because I needed to replace an earlier Samsung that was over 10 years old. The previous TV wasn't HD, much less 4K, and I was afraid that it was getting ready to end. That said I did my research and decided on this 4K Samsung. The picture quality is very, very good. I'd looked at earlier reviews at ratings.com which is what helped me make my decision. The colors are strong and black-level is extremely good. As for brightness I have made some adjustments in the Menu. The audio is another story. This TV has weak audio. All of the reviews I've tread said the same thing, and it's advised that you use this TV with a sound bar/subwoofer combo. I paired it with an AV receiver and that fixed the audio. Thats why I only gave it 4 stars. The only other thing is that you have to get used to the remote. It takes some getting used to, but I did it.

The picture quality is good for light and dark rooms. The interfa e is ok to navigate. The issue I am having is the remote volume will stop working. I have to unplug and plug the tv back in to reset, then it works. Some apps take a while to load.

4K gets 5 stars. Off-center viewing is good too. Remote needs some improving, and the menus are complicated. The manual for this thing is 240 pages long!! To access sleep mode takes five steps. Too much monkey motion. I could do with fewer features and simpler operation. Set up was easy, and we are using a sound bar because we had one already. My only real complaint was on turn on it is really loud for about 1 second then gets normal. I may have found a cure for this (on page 115 of the manual) but it is annoying. A good buy.

great color. speakers and lack of a decent volume level is of concern for those of us who are older and have lost some of our hearing.

Great picture and eady to use controls. Setting up the sound bar was just plug and play. Answer a few questions and its working.

Perfect size, perferct color. Sound has umproved since my last Samsung I boughr 12 years ago. You get plenty of awesome features.

This new budget-friendly Samsung LED 4K UHD TV has an excellent picture but subpar sound. We bought this TV to mount on the wall in our kitchen. It's very thin (about 1' only) and uses a standard VESA 200x200 wall mount (you need 4 M8 x 1.25 screws - Samsung says to use 11-13 mm. ones but I only could find 16mm. ones in our local hardware store, which, after putting a thin washer on each screw to make the screws slightly shorter, worked perfectly). Compatibility with external devices appears very good - we use Roku on all our Samsung TVs and putting a Roku 4K streaming stick was very easy. The TV was very fast to update its software and we could enjoy streaming a 4K UHD HDR movie in no time! But - be warned, the sound on this TV is probably the worst I heard from a Samsung TV. It is hollow and even somewhat muddy. We were able to pair easily through Bluetooth the TV with an Onkyo mini Hi-Fi system and, thankfully, there is no lag between the sound and the picture. But, if you plan to use the TV without an external speaker or a soundbar - its own sound is very subpar! All in all, the picture is extremely good - vivid colors and excellent 4K detail. The remote is very thin and this may not necessarily be a plus. Since we bought last fall a TU-8000 model for one of our bedrooms, it came with Ambient Mode. The AU-8000, however, has no Ambient Mode, contrary to what some websites (like Amazon) list about this model. So, if you want the TV to blend with your room decor - this model won't do. The price is quite good at the time of writing this (just before Black Friday), so the TV definitely delivers where it matters most - in terms of picture and functionality. Its sound quality is a big minus, though, and you'll want to pair it to an external speaker.

It has great color and was easy to setup. We cut the cable and are loving the extra movie choices we have now.

Great Picture and easy to set up. Connecting to WiFi and plugging in settings took less than 20 minutes.
