My only issue with the 8000 series is that it doesn’t have a timer to have it set to come on. My 6000 series was my alarm before my alarm goes off at 2 am for me to get up and that the 8000 series doesn’t do that I wish I would’ve kept my 6000 series, but other than that it’s good.

Thank you for your purchase and for staying loyal to the Samsung brand! You are correct that the CU8000 TV does not have an auto-on setting. However, you can use the SmartThings app to turn on your TV by creating a Routine.
To do so, ensure your TV is set up on your SmartThings app. Inside the app, press the + button and select Create Routine> If (Enter Time) > Then (Control devices).
