    1st sales clerk was more focused on ending his shift than being helpful - 2nd clerk was a young man who gets A+ who did everything he could to help us purchase ipad -including a price match we had requested. Purchase required an authorization from manager - that individual fumbled thru the process until the clerk assisted, never engaged with us while we were right in front of him. Always buy electronics here because of the service - just a little below par this time.

    My U43DU7200 does not start after being off. Samsung service assigned the repair to a company in Florida: USSI - United Service Source, Inc. [email protected] 321-328-1035 Called them and they told me that they do not repair U43 prefix Samsung TVs. They said that I should call Samsung again.

    The salesperson who assisted me was extremely helpful and I greatly appreciated his assistance. I have decided I intensely dislike SMART TV's and, although I am keeping the one I purchased, I would definitely prefer a TV that I simply turn on. I do not use a TV for computing, I do not want automated (or AI determined) ideas about what I should watch and I intensely dislike all the peripheral advertising that's park of the SMART TV package. Additionally, I want to determine my own preferences for picture brightness and sharpness and I want a MUTE button on the Samsung remote.

      Hi JudithH,

      Thank you for your feedback. I have a few suggestions based on your review that I believe will improve your experience.

      If you do not want to use the streaming apps or smart options on your TV, but rather prefer to use only a Cable Box or Antenna for local channels, you can disable Smart Hub. To disable the Smart Hub on a Samsung Smart TV, navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features and disable the Autorun Smart Hub function.

      To adjust the picture settings on your TV, go to Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.

      Finally, to mute your TV, press the +/- volume button once. To unmute, press it again.
