The Q60A does have better picture quality and contrast, however I'm not sure in the end that it was worth the additional $180 at the time I bought them. The smart functions work pretty well and Apple TV functions great. As always, Samsung loaded the TV up with about as much bloatware as possible and then an engineer came in and said "let's add even more". It's a shame they do this as if they would stick to less of this nonsense, I'd have rated the TV higher.

Samsung 43 inch Q60A TV

It replaced a 13 year old 46 inch Sony Bravia and the picture actually seems bigger. It took a little bit of time to get the picture tuned the way we wanted it but that was just personal preference. We stream through a Roku Ultra and the sound is through the small Bose TV speaker, and we couldn't ask for more - it's perfect.

The TV that was removed was around 18 years old. I was so surprised at the difference in picture quality when I started watch programs on the new set. Sometimes I truly think I am a spectator at the Tennis match. It is exciting and very enjoyable.

Replacement for my Den/Office room

I was pleased with the old one and I wanted to stay with this brand. Great clear picture, much better the the older model it replaced. The colors are impressive. Fairly easy set up for my tv options, cable, Netflix, etc. A perfect size, 43" for my den. The price was better than expected, was actually cheaper than the old one. I give it 5 stars.
