I have been a frequent buyer of Samsung products; however, the software was not without glitches. The television would pair with my external devices all the way through the setup process but would lose the information once turned off. Also, the product would not pair with my Bluetooth audio devices.

While the picture is nice for Blurays, streaming, and video game use, the sound is teriible. It sounds hollow, squeaky, and reverberates heavily. This price point should offer better sound and speaker placement, as even the equalizer on standard setting doesnt assist. Would also note that the quality of Samsung tvs are not great any longer. Just purchased to replace a same model 2019 versio of same tv that went bad after onoy two years. Samsung would not assist with repair as 1/2 screen went out prematurely on previous Q60RAF.

Too few buttons to perform too many tasks. Also did not care for the solar feature. Set up went pretty good, picture was OK, sound was weak. Have another small Samsung set and like it, but not this one. Took it back and got the Sony XBR43X800H.

The rundown: -lacks major apps like CNN, CBS and regional sports networks (YES in nyc area) -you have to tile through their “sponsored apps” EVERY time you turn on the TV -cluttered main screen full of ads -have to create a Samsung account and give your phone # to download apps like ABC -terrible ergonomic design of remote that makes my wrist ache after 1-2 minutes of use (have never had carpal tunnel issues) -took 20 min and a YouTube vid to just open the battery case of remote -minimum power off is 4 hrs, can you say burn? -flashing mute icon, so if you use mute regularly like me its unusable -even for the low bar for smart TV audio, the sound is subpar: both tinny and muffled -picture is just okay. I bought this as an upgrade to an Insignia 43’ and on some programs you notice the improvements and other you can’t tell. My primary TV is a 55’ TCL R615 and this is flatly inferior (less clarity and dimming), even 12 inches less If you’re cordless, then buying a Roku or fire stick is almost mandatory. Luckily the Roku (but not the fire stick) allows you to mostly bypass the horrendous Samsung remote. But that’s another $50. That’s more than the 55’ TCL R615 which has much better picture and sound and comes pretty-installed with Roku. If I hadn’t got this at a slight discount I would’ve returned this. Unless you live in a shoebox, buy that instead. I owned a 43’ Samsung about 4 yrs ago whose display I broke, and it didn’t have these issues such as the remote and lack of apps. I’ve owned a 55’ Vizio too. Am never buying a Samsung TV again.

Samsung offers hundreds of apps in our App Store that you can download, and we are continuously adding more premium content and new services to our Smart TV platform.
There is no need to worry about burn-in with Auto Power Off. Your QLED TV is guaranteed against burn-in for 10 years by our Q Guarantee. You can also set a Sleep Timer, if you would like your TV to turn off after a set amount of time. Go to Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off/Sleep Timer. A screensaver is also available.
Please know that you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > General > Smart Features
• When you set Autorun Smart Hub to on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on.
• If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off.
For sound adjustments and settings, you may want to try adjusting the following to suit your liking:
• You can select a sound mode that you prefer for a content type or your listening environment. Go to: Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
• You can also customize sound with Expert Settings. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings
• Your TV features Object Tracking Sound Lite which tracks the action with strategically placed dynamic speakers and Adaptive Sound which automatically adjusts audio to enhance everything from dialogue to music and sports.
Additionally, there are image adjustments you can make to optimize your picture to suit your preferences.
• Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
• You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer to manually fine tune your image.
