Like, it works. The setup was cool and futuristic, I loved how I could hold my phone up to the screen to get things to work but man. My 2016 4k Samsung honestly looks just as good outside of the even more fake HDR it had and it didn’t get too bright. The UI also lagged a decent amount. I ended up taking this back and just paying more for the LG C2. However, please take note, you can literally buy the 48inch LG C1 for about this same price now and that’s OLED with hdmi 2.1. Like they look like you’re watching an actual picture. I really don’t understand how this 43inch has a more premium price when the black levels aren’t great and you can still see light coming in on the corners of the backlight and the colors had to be color corrected a lot to get natural skin tones. Samsung also really needs to just use Android TV or even Roku at this point. But what really hurt this tv is no local dimming zones. I mean I have a 65 inch Hisense U6G as well, cheaper than this tv and the black levels are INSANE and it doesn’t even have a lot of local dimming like some TVs. Almost made me think I’d never need an OLED. It’s an odd choice for a tv. I’m sad cause I could have saved so much time skipping this tv for something else.

A little disappointed

Please know you can download the Q60C TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q60C TV under QLED 4K TVs > C Model Lineup to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual and Remote Guides are also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support.

Don’t Buy

There has always been issues with the color red coming through a weirdly bright shade as well as anything with a pattern on it not coming through correctly. It has been lagging for months now for no reason and sometimes freezes completely. The remote does break easily but it did hold a long charge. Had to buy a replacement remote. Parents bought the same tv and have the same issues. We also bought it in a smaller size and that one has the same issues plus the volume doesn’t work properly and you can barely hear it at level 50. Would not recommend.

Thank you for your review. Please know Paramount+ (and hundreds of additional apps) are absolutely available on your Q60C TV. To access the App Store, press the Home button on your remote, which redirects you to the Home Screen. Press the left directional button to select Media, which located on the leftmost part of the Smart Hub Home Screen within the static menu. From there, select APPS to see a variety of available apps and install the ones you’d like.

Relentlessly annoying interface

I have the tv set to “start with smart screen hub” and the other option is to open the last app that you used. Despite starting with the hub, the tv always opens whatever app I used last. It’s most annoying with anything connected by an hdmi. Repeatedly, over and over, it will boot up and navigate to the hdmi and kick me out of the app that I keep opening. Once I unplugged the Blu-ray to stop the cycle and it started up the PlayStation. The tv does this with apps too. As in, I open Hulu but it keeps trying to open Netflix and kicks me out of Hulu a few times before Hulu will stay open. I hate it.

Doesn’t like Apple products

I was able to get video but no sound. Customer service said do a hard boot. We did that five times still no sound

Awful tv

This tv is awful. Apps only load half the time, the pause button never actually pauses anything. It randomly changes apps and videos all the time. We got it to replace a 7 year old tv that was having some issues with the screen and honestly, the 7 year old tv is still better.

You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
