This set does all the basics beautifully: easy setup, great picture, easy compatibility with cable box and sound system. On the down side, I’ve never seen so many functions that are non-intuitive. Early on, I was annoyed by a harsh, fast-speaking voice that announced every use of the remote. After hours perusing the online manual, I discovered it was part of the accessibility features. It was easy to change it, but hard to locate. Also, to be nitpicky, the controls on the remote are very touchy. It’s too easy to make mistakes. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. The price for this level of quality is still a good deal.

It was easy to set up and has good sound, a pretty good picture, WiFi works with no problem, haven’t bothered with the voice activated stuff, the remote takes some getting used to but I mainly use the Fios remote. My only complaint is that it’s unfortunate that manufacturers don’t put more features in the 43 inch models. Some people don’t have room for larger screens so why should they be so limited in their TV choices?

Previously I had a smaller Insignia flatscreen. Was my first flatscreen & was decent while I had it, but this went on sale for Black Friday, so I decided to take the leap & get it. Glad I did! The picture is great, the smart features where when you turn the TV on it turns on your last used device is neat, I can use the remote for the TV to control said devices, I can cast the audio or even screen from my phone onto it (Bluetooth just to do audio, Mirrorcast to do the screen), etc. I also like having 2 ports for USBs now, since I only had 1 on my previous TV. Also nice having more than just 2 HDMI ports as well. It even has a Game Mode for the picture! It detects when a gaming device is being used (and whether you're actually gaming or just watching something on it) and then when it detects you are indeed playing a game, turns on Game Mode itself. Haven't had any downfalls so far & am very happy w/ my purchase!

Was looking for a 4k TV that could handle 60 fps and this one is excellent for that! Color range is impressive, depth of black is more than adequate if not borderline amazing. Plenty of ports, and the world's easiest game modes I've experienced. Playing Miles Morales and The Last of Us Part II on the PS5 have been utterly stunning. Almost no adjustments needed and amazing dynamic color range and depth. Smooth picture. Deep shadows without washing out or going too bright. 4k movies are amazing, recommended some tinkering with settings to get the right dark room brightness for your full experience. Speakers are more than acceptable but can't go wrong upgrading to at least a sound bar. Easy install on a new stand or wall mounting. Could come with a better stand is my only even mild criticism.

Very nice picture, sharp excellent color - I did find the sound lacking but I have a sound bar and that took care of the sound issue. It was very easy to install and set up - still learning the Samsung guide and channel listings - different than my xfinity- but not really an issue. Overall excellent picture - looking forward to watching sports-- someday.

Easy set up. Syncs with Spectrum TV and also a nice feature to have Alexa built in. Picture quality is very good. Remote control is difficult to use for my 83 year old mom. A basic remote with numbers and easy to read features would be better and why I give 4 stars.

    First Smart TV

This is our first smart TV. We bought it before we switched internet/cable/landline phone providers. Samsung gets higher ratings on Consumer Reports, but most of the higher ratings go to larger TV sets. We got a 43 inch to fit in our bookcase cabinet. It was not easy to set up, but we are novices. We had to register both on Samsung and the TV provider, and it kept asking us over and over to set up, which was a hassle. The remote is tiny with very tiny, sensitive buttons - not good for older people. We solved that issue by getting an extra box from our TV provider, so that we had consistency with all remotes. Our sales rep said we could have also gotten a universal remote. The sound was very faint, so we wound up getting a sound bar. All in all, we spent more money than we would have liked for all of these items.

Really nice tv, but I think Samsung could have done a better job with the speaker quality. The picture is very good. The remote control, well could have been better also. For an elderly couple it is not the best, trying to take too many short cuts or make everything to be talked to and let Alexa or whoever control it. Elderly people need things to be simplified. This was bought for my parents.

    Samsung 43” QLED

I bought the 43” QLED model for a bedroom application. The picture really pops with vivid color from edge to edge. I enjoy the sleek minimalist remote which I became accustomed with on my 55” Samsung purchased about 2 years ago. I also appreciated the newer on-board programming that detected my WiFi signal and only required the input of my WiFi password to enable streaming services. It was basically plug and play. This is my 3rd Samsung TV purchase and Samsung has never disappointed me. The only con I have with this model is the small separate right and left mounted legs that nearly all manufacturers are now using. I much preferred the center mounted pedestal type stands that offered a rotating viewing angle and what I feel is a more stable platform.

This review is for the Samsung QLED 4K UHD Smart TV. It was extremely easy to put on the legs, set up, turn on, connect appropriate input lines, and be operational within 15 minutes. The picture is sharp and clear. I can run a computer using the screen as a monitor, and it works great. I switch in and out of programming very easily, going from NF to BritBox to Amazon to Cable to Roku to MLB and many other services very, very easily. Controls are great. Audio is very good, but could benefit from a sound bar with base and talking emphasis. Overall, I am very pleased with my choice.

Beautiful picture. A little more expensive than the options available these days, but I'll be staring at it for 5 years, so it's worth it to me. Easy setup, I just wish it came with screws to mount onto my bracket. Not a huge problem, as it's a standard metric screw available at any hardware store. I'm moving this tv quite a bit on an articulating arm, and it feels solid. My last TV made creaking noises as it was moved, this feels like it won't twist or bend at all. I shouldn't be using the corner of the tv to move it, but I do...and it doesn't feel like it's going to break.

Set up was easy; the picture quality is great; and the TV has worked very well. Started buying a different model Samsung 43" 4K UHD TV at Best Buy's Black Friday early sales. I was getting ready to check out and asked "jokingly" about an open box. Didn't think there was a better model on open box. To my surprise, the 43" Q60T was an open box with a discount for Black Friday. With open box cost, discount & Black Friday specials....the Q60T ended up cheaper than the lower model I was going to purchase. So great value on top of the quality.

I’m really happy with this TV. Good picture and sound. At 43” inches, it is only 2/3 the weight of my old 37” and I was able to handle the unboxing and setup by myself. One feature that was important to me- it has a composite input for my old VCR. It has Amazon Echo built in. It responds to voice commands. The remote is small and light, but fully functional. My main complaint is that the feet are far apart, flimsy, and unstable. I considered it necessary to buy a more substantial stand. The set up was a little more complicated than I would have liked, but the reward is that you have access to lots of features.

I must say that I am partial to Samsung when it comes to TV's, and this TV didn't disappoint. I was in the market for a new 43" TV since my 12-year old Samsung recently broke. I compared this TV to other available manufacturers/models on the market, and the price/features of this model were exactly what I was looking for. The picture quality is great, ease of use is exactly what I have come to expect from a Samsung product, and the added smart TV features make my life a lot easier when it comes to my families entertainment.

Tv is excellent. Worth every penny. Picture is very clear and bright. No issues with pop ups or only have 3 settings for picture. I was able to do advance setting and set every part of the picture to my liking. Easy to set up. Complaints seem either issue with tv or just expectations of a 3,000 tv. Have used apps, cable and screen mirroring from my iphone. All was easy and worked great. Great price heading into holidays. Bought the tv online but picked up at the store. Quick and easy. Entire experience was great. Highly recommend.

We bought this tv a little under a month ago and I’m still blown away by the bright, crisp picture. Yes, QLED makes a difference. A huge difference. We have 2 other LED’s in the house, both are far larger – this was to replace an older model in our bedroom – but this is the TV we enjoy watching the most because of the picture quality. I’ve re-watched several older movies just because they seem ‘new’ with such a crisp, colorful picture. And the reviewer who said this: “blacks are super black on this tv”… Thank you! I want brilliant bright colors, crisp images, and blacks that aren’t gray. This TV delivers, and then some. We now intend to replace one of our larger TV’s with a QLED. Setup was a dream. Wifi has never been a problem, and though I’m not fond of useless apps, the variety surely has something to offer for everyone. Easy to navigate, too. Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Tizen, but I give it a big thumb’s up. As others have mentioned, the sound quality on this is surprisingly good and I’d say it’s close to our TV with a sound bar. Not as good as the TV connected to 5 speakers and a sub of course. Seems people either love or dislike the remote. Initially I didn’t care for it at all, but after using it and getting accustomed to it, I can’t stand the larger cable remote anymore. It’s small, and very comfortable to hold, and has a limited number of buttons, which surprisingly, I’ve found to be preferable. No more putting my readers on or squinting to find a button amongst all the others, instead they are within easy distance while casually holding and smartly multifunctional. Lastly, the keyboard input (handy to have for searches, which I use often on YouTube and other apps) is far for user-friendly than our other 2 TV’s, mostly because of the simplified remote. I gave up on Smart features with our other TV’s as I just couldn’t be bothered. We used the Rocketfish Full Motion TV mount with this TV and everything we needed was included.

Great picture with good sound. Setup seemed a little easier than the Samsung of a couple of years ago, had to manually set up some stuff for personal preference, but not too bad. Audio is OK but be forewarned if you are expecting to take a component audio out to your older stereo that is not HDMI/Optical capable. There is NO component audio out. I also knew to expect trouble when I saw the were shipping with OnTrac!! 10 days late!! OnTrac is the worst, I will not buy from anyone knowing they use OnTrac. Disclosures please!!
