I've owned just about every Samsung Frame model from 2019 until this 2021 unit. This particular model is not as bad as my experience with the 2020 32" but it's close. The screen itself is just as crisp and vibrant as ever. The much slimmer bezel makes a huge difference in the packaging size, resulting in it being extremely easy to carry or place in your vehicle. That said this 2021 43" unit has been a let down in two main areas, sound and installation. For 2021 Samsung moved to a new mounting system. The new system has many downsides. First of all it requires two small plates to be installed onto your wall/surface versus one single large plate. The brackets themselves are cheap stamped steel. They do their job but they are extremely cheap compared to the previous bracket. The previous T bracket offered 8-10 screw locations so you were sure to hit at least one stud. You could also level the previous bracket after mounting it by adjusting the female receiver bracket - really nice. Additionally in the previous system if you installed a 43 but wanted to upgrade to a 50 you could literally just swap Frames. I'm not so sure you can do that with this new system. Lastly the audio, specifically the bass with the 2019 and 2020 was much deeper and richer. I'd imagine that reducing the bezel thickness from 1.8" to 1" has something to do with this. All in all it's a good buy but in hindsight I wish I purchased a discounted 2020 model. I don't feel like the 2021 units are entirely worth the price knowing how amazing previous generations were engineered.

Hi Pjpnyc,
Thank you for choosing The Frame TV and for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback regarding the wall mount, as well as the sound quality of your new TV. One of the features of your TV is OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite) which means that there are strategically placed dynamic speakers that track the action and move the sound around you. If you have a Samsung Q-Series soundbar, please take advantage of Q-Symphony which synchronizes both your TV speakers and soundbar to give you an excellent surround experience.
There are also several sound settings on The Frame TV that you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences.
Change the Sound Mode by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings
To assist you with possible sound settings adjustments for a better audio experience, or choosing a Samsung Soundbar to complement your viewing enjoyment, please reach out to us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913.

Have this 43" The Frame for couple weeks now.
I bought this mainly for the art display when the TV is off. With its 1" thick, it seems to fit perfectly to my needs.
The Art mode is nice when TV off; however, I can't figure out how to get it to play arts continuously without being stuck to the last photo (I have 130 photos, set time interval 30 minutes. When it got to the last photo, it remains there until I reset the slideshow).
The nice feature is it has the motion/ambiance sensor, so it turns off at night when all lights are off.

Great picture and concept. Limited amount of free but excellent art. A little complicated to choose pictures. Optional white border is a bit flimsy. Looks great in living room above fireplace and very functional for streaming tv too.

This is not a review of the television’s performance. Fired it up last night and it looks great. But be aware that the 2021 43” model of The Frame does not come with the same mounting hardware that you’ll find any Samsung installation video. For some completely unknown reason, this one has a completely different system, and ONLY includes instructions and anchors for mounting on concrete or brick. If you want to hang it on an interior drywall wall, you’re on your own.

This TV was great, I confirmed with Samsung Support I could have the fibre optic cable posted through the wall, so I have a completely floating TV with the box in the closet behind the wall.
Overall the TV is great, the picture is wonderful as you'd expect and the software is good as per my other Samsung QLEDs. Only downside of using this as a TV is that the speaker are not great.
We paired it with a Sonos beam sound bar and wired everything through the wall, it looks great, and sounds great!

You're going to be paying a premium for the picture frame feature, but if you're looking to "hide" your tv in plain view this is your best choice. I have had family and friends come over and at first glance mistake it for an actual painting. If you want to fully create a picture like quality, you will have to purchase the in wall rated wiring kit that Samsung sells but if you're placing this over a tv console the exposed wire is so small it is barely noticeable. As with most TV speakers the sound isn't impressive, but I wasn't expecting it to be given its purpose.

My daughter bought this TV first and she has enjoyed it so when I went looking for a new tv, this is the one I chose. I love that it hangs on the wall... and when not in use I can look at a picture instead of a black screen.
While watching the tv, I love the quality of the picture. So crisp and the colors are gorgeous. I had the Geek Squad install it because I am technically challenged. The two guys that came were professional and thorough and I am glad I didn't try to do it on my own.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I did not want a tv to be the focus of our living room so this is exactly what I wanted. I will only occasionally use it as a tv so the picture and sound quality is good but doesn't really compare to a proper 4k HDR with sound bar setup. The art feature is really great and I love changing the image based on my mood. I think the overall aesthetic will be complete once I add a bezel.

This is a great TV! I also love that when I walk into the room, it transforms into beautiful wall art. I was concerned with some of the reviews about the hanging attachments of this size Frame (43"), and although it was a little finicky, it was more forgiving than I thought and it worked out very well.

I returned it to be honest.
I didn't know there was a difference between BESPOKE vs. non-BESPOKE products by Samsung and Bezel meant for TV's until after I purchased this item. Basically, my friend and I saw The Frame and even on display at Best Buy it was absolutely gorgeous.
After running to 3 different Best Buys, we , it was obvious based upon on conversation amongst each other in front of the sales guy we wanted The Frame for the flush feature and painting-like display.
When we both got home, after a 2 days, we were so disappointed it wasn't the item we actually wanted or saw on display. There is a difference between The Frame with or without Bezel feature and I recommend verifying any product by Samsung prior to purchase. There is a significant difference aesthetically and financially.
My friend ended up keeping his but I had to return mine b/c I noticed the colors weren't consistent across the display panel. There was a section of the TV in which the colors displayed were different than the rest of the image. It is really hard to see but I can pick up on visual hues every well. Also, the black points were well achieved but in contrast, the brighter colors seemed more off and the balance between dark and light was not visually pleasing. In fact, my brother had the same problem with a different Samsung TV model. These Samsung TV's, however, were manufactured in 2021. Apparently, there is a significant improvement in the 2022 models and beyond b/c many had this inconsistency.
A huge deal breaker for me was the speaker sound. Recently, Sony Bravia changed up their technology and the speakers on the TV are insane b/c it comes from every point behind the TV display vs Samsung which in the speakers are set on the bottom in one location. The sound level of a Sony Bravia at say 30 is the equivalent to a Samsung TV at 80. And it's very annoying considering its rigid emitting sound from one focal point and the sound quality isn't as rich as Sony Bravia.
My friend, however, he is okay with it and kept his TV. He was disappointed but he got over it. The price he purchased his for was a great deal for the size. He is a very picky person yet he kept it out of inconvenience to deal with the return process I guess and he had already mounted it on his wall.
It just depends. I do highly highly recommend making sure the TV is 2022+. It seems as though there is not much of a price difference yet significant difference in quality and change in technology.
Hope this helps!
