I literally mounted this to the wall, read the setup guide and turned it on, connected it to the wifi, and as I was logging onto my premium apps, the top half of the screen dimmed by 50 percent. I got on the internet and googled the issue and it's very common for older Samsung TVs... but not one with 3 hours on it. In the pics you can see a blue bar across the top that should be the same brightness as the blue bar at the bottom. Very disappointed.

1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections.
2. If the issue persists, define precisely what is wrong with the display.
3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception.

I bought two TVs Samsung 43" Class TU690T Series LED 4k in last black Friday, I received these two TVs on November 23, 2022.
However, I opened only on box last year, because the bedroom that the other TV should be installed was not ready to receive the TV.
Today, on 02/05/2023 I finally opened the second TV box to install the new TV in my son bedroom and the TV's screen is broken in two points, and the Return period ended Jan 14, 2023.
Now, I can't do anything else, just sharing here for everyone learn with my error, and always open a box soon you receive to double check if everything is good with yours product.

I'm sorry that your TU690T TV will not turn on. Please know we are here to help and have a few troubleshooting tips for you to try.
Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. If it is on, it means that your TV is receiving power and the culprit is likely the remote. Please try to power the TV on through the button below the Samsung logo. If it powers on, I recommend changing the batteries on the remote and possibly replacing the remote.
If the red light below the TV is not on, please try the following:
1) Unplug the TV from its power source for 30 seconds. Then try to power it on again. 2) Try a different outlet that you have confirmed works properly 3) Press the Menu button on your remote. If the Menu appears, then this confirms your TV is powered on. Next, follow these steps:
・Confirm that the TV is set to the same source as the external device. ・Test the HDMI cable. Go to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. ・Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port.
If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it.
Finally, if the red standby light is blinking, please try unplugging the TV for 30 seconds and then try again. Also, confirm that the outlet you are using works with other devices.

Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.

Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit, damage could have been done.

Bought this TV to add visibility for my spouses restaurant/bar kitchen see what is happening in the bar and dining room area while cooking. It is connected to the camera system DVR. It is amazing! Picture, is clear, color is rich, screen visibility if very nice, and the price was right. Added bonus that it is a smart tv, so we can switch it over to tv and watch a wide variety of movies/shows from the extensive list of Samsung's channel availability. Very much worth it for the price!

I LOVE this tv. I went up and the size from my previous tv but needed something that would fit between my mantle and ceiling and this is perfect. The one thing that drew me to this tv was the numbers on the remote. I hated my old tv remote and having to scroll through the guide to find what I wanted to watch. Being able to just punch in the number makes it so simple and easy. It was quick and easy to set up and connect my internet and blu-ray player to. I've had it for about a month and a half and haven't had any issues. I did buy the 5 year extended warranty because well, better safe than sorry.

The TV's quality is great. Once mounted the setup was simple. The TV overall has been great.
The only thing I found is that when I was putting the brackets on for mounting the TV on the wall, the specs didn't quite match up. I used a Sanus wall mount that I've used for multiple other TVs. The bolt size through the brackets and into the TV was supposed to be M2x20-22mm according to the TV's quick guide instructions. The M2x20mm wasn't long enough to even start threading and with that, if an M2x22mm was available, I wouldn't have trusted that it would have had enough threading to support the weight of the TV. I ended up picking up M2x25mm bolts and those got enough threads into the back of the TV that I was comfortable mounting it at that point and haven't had issues.
So, great TV but you may need to verify the bolt length being used if you are mounting the TV

Usually buy vizio tvs but i decided to try the samsung. This has amazing picture quality! The color is absolutely beautiful. The remote is easy to use. The sound is great quality. There is an option to make subtitles bigger or smaller, to change the font and color. I love that it is a smart tv. Very happy with my purchase

Samsung at a phenomenal price. I use it as a monitor and replaced a 1440p 27 inch monitor. It has choma 444 and low latency. Make sure to select game mode if you use it the same way. Best buy service really missed on this one. I ordered online at 9am and showed up at 7pm. It never said it was ready. I went to the pickup window and the guy tried to tell me that ordering online was a long process. I got the cashier next to him and got him to confess there was a pallet full of them right behind me. Which put the lie to the first guy saying they were sold out. The cashier appeared high and lied repeatedly to me and got caught right away. I cancelled the online order and bought one of the ones from the pallet. Yeah hard to get good workers now I guess.

bought this tv for the bedroom, i like it so much that i bought a second one for the den. a great tv for the money and comes with free access to the Samsung channels. easy setup with scan of my smart phone, only had to put in access code to my wifi.
