It was way past time to upgrade. This tv is a good size without too many bells and whistles. We don't really need many special features. I'm sure we are not using the tv to its full potential yet. Good picture quality and sound is good as well. Considered a speaker system but do not really need it at this point. My 20 year old tv still works though.

This is a very nice TV with a great picture. It was easy to set up and easy to use. I am very pleased with this TV.

You can't get better than this for the price. At 48" with full 1080p LED and the quality that the Samsung brand delivers, this TV is second to none. Setup was a breeze: all included screws attach the mount to the TV. The mount is significant in weight, which is nice as it counterbalances the TV well. I love that this TV has an optical out, and the fact that my third party remote works with this is even better. My only gripe is that I wish this had more than two HDMI inputs, but no worries, I can use an expander for the time being.

This is a very nice TV. Picture is great, it is lightweight compared to the flat screen it replaced. I am pleased with this product and would recommend it.

We had recently purchase a larger tv for our basement and a week later had our main tv go out. We targeted this tv which was 1/3 of the cost of what it replaced and had a larger screen to fit in the same area. Set up was very easy and the picture and sound have been fantastic!

I like the color and the ease in setting it up. sound was not the best but am enhancing it with a sound bar.

We went in looking for a 50" Smart Samsung TV but left with this 48" one for at least $150 less. We definitely wouldn't notice a 2" difference and our Amazon Fire Stick makes it a Smart TV. We're even able to mirror our Samsung laptop. Now we're thankful they didn't have the other in stock because we made out even better!

I basically turned on the TV and it connected immediately to my Dish network. This is the easiest setup I've ever had for any TV I've owned. The picture and sound are very good.

Great TV. Easy to hang. We consistently chose Samsung TV and are happy with ease of use and quality.

Use it for presentations in our Conference Room at work. Also has great picture to sneak in a Football game . Good price , has what we needed to hook up Laptops for classes.

The tv performs perfectly, clear picture, only drawback I can find is that the volume is a little quiter for the level you set it at vs our 32"

My real rating is 4.5 stars but it won't let me do that. Didn't know that I was in the market for a TV until un unfortunate accident with a small child and a baseball. I usually do some review checking and knew it would be an ok fit and it was list at a great sale price so it worked just fine. I have been impresses with picture clarity and over all quality, really much better than expected. My only complaint was the need for a sound system as it fails to fill a large room. But my children will tell you that I'm deaf anyway so...

Great tv. Easy set up . Was really surprised you get so much in a tv for the price. It's a smart tv! I have seen this tv sold for a much higher price at other retailers

the tv was easy to sit up and my parents loved it for their Christmas present! It has one of the best pictures that I have seen lately!

I purchased this for my daughter and son in law. The price was great as well as the quality of the set. They love their new television.

The tv is great. I like the fact that it has a different modes of color depending on what you are watching i.e. movie and sports.
