I just needed something for my PS4, and to watch TV on.. Didn't need a Smart TV so this one fit the bill.. Picture quality is great. Easy to use remote.

I shopped for TV's for about a month and was looking at LCD/LED's in a higher price range. But after seekng the display for this TV at <$400 - I went with it knowing I might give up aome functionality or clarity. Ive been pleasantly surprised. The picture is above average, the HD could be a bit better but again, for this price, great. You do need to grab a soundbar or some sort of speaker system, but I would recommend this if you want a decent size at an unbeatable price!

Good size and sound is not bad. I am using in a conference room in my office and it seem to be very clear and easy to connect a computer to.

This TV is just the right size for our room and setup. Good hi-def picture. Light weight, so easy for one person to move around if needed.

The Samsung HD 48 fit perfectly in my family room. The screen size is not too imposing. It was easy to set up.

The samsung LED HSTV is at best awesome. Easy to set-up and quality of picture is insane. Crisp, clear and excellent sound.

I upgraded from 32 inch to 48 inch when my old LCD TV died. The Samsung is a very nice step up, while maintaining about the same footprint. It is simple to set up, partially because there a fewer inputs than my last TV (I.e. no S-video, no phono plug audio out, etc.). The remote is pretty basic, but I'll be using a smart remote so no loss there. Controls and features meet or exceed my expectations of a middle range set. Picture and sound quality are solid. All around it does what I expected, with no disappointments.

I bought this for my hubbys mancave for Christmas. Easy set up and really nice tv. Price was really good!

While not top of the line, this HD TV has excellent picture quality and the built in speakers actually sound good! I have an external hard drive I was able to plug into the usb port in the back and the TV is able to decode and play a decent number of video formats. I haven't noticed any problems with refresh rates or contrast with my playstation either.

I'm not an electronics or TV buff so to me, if it turns on and looks OK then I assume it's a good TV. I had no issues setting it up and I'm overall happy with it but I do have to say I'm not a fan of the stand that it comes with. It makes it look awkward and it's already not the sleekest TV from the side. I didn't plan to install it on the wall but I may end up doing so simply because of the stand.

If I were to gripe about this TV it would be that when the brightness in my home changes during the day sometimes the TV darkens too much, otherwise It is perfect for my small front room. Hooked it up to my stereo and it sounds great. It is not vesa compliant so be prepared to do some fancy engineering to mount this on the wall.

We bought this TV as a holiday gift, so obviously we were on a budget. I've always been a fan of Samsung TV's, so naturally I went with one this time as well. The TV was shipped and delivered within 3 days of the order, less than a month from the Christmas holiday! The quality of picture this TV has is worth well over what we have invested. I will certainly be looking to Best Buy and Samsung on my next personal TV upgrade!

This Samsung 48" LED television has exceeded all my expectations. The picture is sharp, great color and decent sound. It is not a "Smart" television, I have many peripherals added on instead. One added bonus is it's ability to play any type of compressed music or video file, no extra equipment needed! Surprise! Thank you, Samsung.
