I got this TV because I needed a bigger one in my living room, I could not be happier. This is a great TV so simple to set up, it also works great with my roku. I would recommend to anyone!

I was excited to recently upgrade from my 6 year old Sharp LCD set to this "Smart" TV for under $400. Same size, more brains, must be better. Not quite, here are just a few of my complaints: * tiny remote made navigating internet screen and entering passwords very frustrating. You'll need a Bluetooth keyboard or different remote for that. * Color and overall picture quality was meh... Even after spending much time tweaking the picture settings, colors were oversaturated and just not as natural looking as my Sharp set. This was the deal killer that made me return the set along with an overly reflective, screen that made viewing difficult, overly reflecting room lights and light from windows. My Sharp set has a matte finish that mutes reflections. * I can get around the tinny speakers, the remote and even the cheap, lightweight construction, but it really came down to the picture. I breathed a sigh of relief when I put the old Sharp TV back on the stand. Also, note there are no RCA inputs for most DVD players. I'm sure Samsung makes better sets for more money and if you just need a big set in a dark room, this may fill the bill. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

We were in-between this and an LG that was a couple inches bigger. This TV's quality and compatibility with other devices far surpassed the LG.

It has a great picture, very clear and crisp. Easy setup and great smart tv features. Great TV for the price especially when it's on sale!

I purchased this TV on sale. I didn't expect that it would be this awesome! Picture quality is great! Quality build, quality product!

I went looking to upgrade one of my older flatscreenstv. Already had. Samsung 60 inch smart tv and the 48 in was on sale. Looks great!

The Samsung TV that they display on the web site is NOT what you get when you open the box......it's a cheaper model, less hook ups on the back

The Samsung (48") Smart HDTV has a great picture and the use of the smart functions are relatively easy. Great purchase!

This is my first samsung tv after owning a larger Vizio in my family room. Purchased this one to replace a smaller tv in another room and have been pretty disappointed with it from the start. 1. Every time you turn the tv on and hit the Smarthub button, the TV kicks back that it is "preparing tv" for a few minutes. Granted, our Vizio takes 30 seconds to start Netflix right after you turn on the tv, however Vizio has a workaround where you can boot the TV directly to Netflix using the Netflix button on the remote. It allows you to launch Netflix, Amazon Prime, and some others immediately while the TV is powering on. 2. The UI is slow and clunky. We usually set a sleep timer on the tv, and are constantly missing/overshooting different sections of settings menu because the lag time between the remote and the tv is so long. You can't tell if the tv actually registered the remote input and is just lagging. 3. I know this is an easy fix (electrical tape), but the stupid light at the bottom of the tv stays on constantly when the tv is off. It's pretty bright in a dark room. Not a deal breaker on it's own. Maybe I'm just used to the Vizio product and Samsung people will like this one. It's definitely not for me and we'll be exchanging it for something else.

I love this smart tv....setup was easy and the installation was very quick. I would recommend it.

This TV doesn't have a composite input, Only 2 HDMI inputs. I bought and realized later !! so this is going back If you don't care about the composite input, and are OK with 2 HDMI, this can be a good choice for a cheap smart TV

Samsung is a very reputable product and the price at Best Buy couldn't be beat!

Very happy with purchase. Only Down side was only 2 HDMI ports. I could use more ports. I had to purchase a 4 port HDMI selector to connect all my components.

I love my Samsung TV. Very easy to set up and the picture is beautiful.

Like any other Samsung product, the picture is brighter than my old TCL.
