I have used a number of different brand names over the years in both home and business electronics. This model Samsung is the first large screen I have tried from them, and so far it is great for the family room. The sound is usually the weak link in these TVs and in laptops (heaven forbid Amazon ever face the Kindle speakers TOWARDS the user), but it has enough quality and clarity to push some sound out of the diagonal corner it sits in. We also have it through a receiver and that sound is, of course, significantly better. The picture quality is excellent in the low outdoor light environment it is in. Heavy drapes block the only source of outside light on the north wall. It was plug and play right out of the box--TWC box is hooked up by HDMI and the Internet works as expected by direct CAT5 cabling. Bottom line, for the price it is was a good deal and my wife is enjoying the new TV since Christmas came early. Manual and Tech Assistance are online through the TV, but we have not needed either one.

Great priced television . Super quality and great coloring

Great television. Super light weight, easy to mount on wall. Great picture quality for sports and movies. I'm sure there are better but I have no regrets and highly recommend this television. Great price, great purchase

everything is great with this tv. very lightweight, super picture quality, easy to set up, works perfectly with my At&t internet and U-verse tv service. speakers sound good, 2 hdmi ports and a usb port, very handy.

Not terribly impressed with this TV. Is a good upgrade from my old 32" Dynex, but bought this mainly for the Smart capabilities which are unfortunately lacking. Takes forever to load Netflix, and cant get through 2 seconds without it buffering, then another couple seconds and buffers, then loses all sound and buffers, etc. Samsung support recommended unplugging the TV for 5 minutes, then plugging it back in, which fixed the problem for a good 30 minutes or so.... Wifi is useless, so unless you actually plug this into a router, Smart capabilities are pointless. Use my Sony smart blu ray player for netflix now. TV also is not ARC enabled or compatible with Samsung Smart View. Real low end TV feature wise. Picture so far is fantastic though, so don't take this review as all bad. Just didn't quite live up to my expectations.

Overall the TV is great, it was very easy to set up and get hooked up to my wireless network. Picture looks great for a 1080 HD TV. Lots of good apps to use like You Tube and Hulu. It is very nice having the internet on a big screen right in my bedroom. My only complaint about the TV is the remote control, it works fine but I wish it had a keyboard on the back of it like my Vizio Smart TV has. Having a keyboard makes surfing the web and using apps a lot easier and faster. Other than that I like the TV, so 4 out of 5 stars.

What an amazing picture. Very easy to set up. I love how I can watch movies on Amazon, Netflix and Hulu as well as cruise the Internet. I just need to set up my wireless keyboard and I will be all set.

This tv has a wonderful picture and it was so easy to set up. My only complaint (it really is not a complaint) is the volume. You have to turn it up to really hear good.

everything about the TV is great. Easy setup, great picture, easy to navigate the smart Tv apps. We use it in the bedroom so the sound quality is quite adequate for us.

Everything was as expected and the product has met my expectations. I bought it about a month ago. Sometime the TV remote doesn't work or freezes. I'll have to see if this problem worsens over time. The picture quality is great. I'm not a big fan of Smart TV. Chromecast is the best in my opinion because it streams very fast compared to smart TVs and not all apps are on the app store.

Nice size tv with great color and sound. The smart tv feature is a great feature we have on our other tv. Makes it nice for multiple smart features.

Purchased this TV for my new TV room that my family and grandkids could enjoy. Great color, size is perfect for the space. Easy to setup.

So I had the unfortunate experience of my beautiful Samsung 60" turn into a boat anchor during a move. Was heartbreaking as we had enjoyed it immensely for gaming, movies, etc... I couldn't shell out for another at the time, so strolled in to see. I tried 2 other televisions in the span of a month, and both paled in comparison to the quality I get from a Samsung. When I do go get the larger, it will be a Samsung, and this one will go into the bedroom nicely. Great sound, easy to use, absolutely adore it. Highly recommended.

A 48" smart LED for under $500 by a quality brand like Samsung is amazing. It's only 60hz, which explains the price, so if you just need a new tv for the bedroom or dorm this is perfect. If you're hoping to show off your new "Godfather" or "Avatar" Blu-ray I would recommend you spend a little more to get a larger screen and higher refresh rate (120+). Also, only 2 HDMI limits the connectivity.

Great picture, easy set up. My first Smart TV and it really is! Sound is not as good as my old one but perfectly OK. Lots less frame for a cleaner look.

This TV is absolutely awesome for the price. The clarity and colors are out of this world. Very easy and fast to set up. Smart features are extremely user friendly. If you are in the market for a new TV, you can pay more for other makes, but why would you want to? I would strongly urge you to consider this TV.
