I spent a very long time sifting through reviews from multiple sites before pulling the trigger on this one. There are so many opinions out there and in the end you just just have to make a decision that works best for you. The quality of the picture is fantastic! Fire in particular is super bright, almost have to squint your eyes. Watching in a dark room really brings out the quality. I use exterior sound so I don't know about it's built in speakers. UI is great and easy to use. Voice control on remote very useful when switching apps. Also love the hub concept for ports. One long cord leads to small port hub box; no more elastic hand trying to fit between the wall and the TV when adding or removing. Super happy with this purchase!

The picture quality is great. I found it easy to connect to my tablet. I have pictures I want to show guests so I connect with my tablet and everyone can see them at the same time. Easy connect to my sound bar.

This TV really is as good as the other reviews suggest. My Xbox One games look fantastic due to the great refresh rate and 4K. The set is aesthetically pleasing and the remote is great. A must-buy for the price.

This tv is amazing. Everything from the picture quality to features on the smart remote control make this tv very enjoyable. I recommend this tv for pairing with a PS4 Pro, Xbox One S or 4K UHD blu-ray player.

This TV is a great way to enter Samsung's SUHD line. I first purchased their 7000 series but was disappointed by that line's HDR. So I returned that one and got this instead and was happy with my decision. The few sources of 4k content I've tried were great. I mostly play video games so I got this in anticipation for the new PlayStation Pro and Xbox One S. It was highly recommended by video game news sites. My current console games look gorgeous and from what I can tell the input lag is fairly low. I like the slim design and silver trim/TV stand; it's immediately impressive at first glance. A couple of things I don't like: the little box for source connections is a bit odd. The TV sits on a TV stand so it's not totally distracting. One other thing that drives me nuts is the HDMI universal remote feature on this TV. It doesn't work well. When I turn my TV on it turns on my console every time when I just want to watch Netflix. Doubly annoying is when my devices are already off and I turn off the TV it in turn turns on my devices and in doing so turns my TV back on. I guess I don't really need the feature so I disabled it. Would have been nice if it worked well.

Great picture easy to install and very sleek looking

Great picture and sound quality. Huge improvement of my 10 year 1080p lcd. I mainly use this for gaming w/ PS4 pro. The game mode in the settings works great with HDR. No regrets on this purchase.

The model I bought was a 2016 version. While not the most important aspect of choosing a TV, I want to start by saying the look of this TV is really nice. The thin profile, metal stands and slim bezel make this very nice to look at on or off. The picture quality is not overshadowed by the aesthetics. I use this as a monitor for my PC and watch YouTube, Netflix and view pictures from my camera in 4k and have had a good experience so far. Software for the TV is typical app stuff like other smart TVs and there is a good amount of customization for the display modes and that type of thing. Some of the setting have given me issues by not staying at what I set them to, making me have to go and change them every couple of days but that may be a sync issue with my PC. One thing I would point out to anyone buying this TV is that if you dont disable the eco solution features under the system menu the screen will change its brightness levels on its own which can be annoying. I have had some issues figuring out how to setup everything the way I want, but that said, this is a nice TV and am happy with it.

This Samsung 8000 4k HDTV is so clear and the picture quality is do good it is like the people are standing in your living room. The remote is very easy to use. I would recommend this TV hands down.

TV right out of the box reveals a a great picture. Easy to setup. The design is very sleek. Bought this set because of the Quantum Dot display that will not be available on the newer series 8.

I love this tv. I had an old 32 inch hd Samsung. Deciced time for an upgrade. Can't believe how crisp the picture is and the 4k is amazing. The hdr for the 4k blu ray player is amazing as well

Noticeable difference coming up from a 1080p Samsung. Color is the biggest wow factor. Great design, sleek new controller and interface is easy to use. Paired with PS4 pro makes gaming a dream.

This SUHD Smart TV was easy to set up, and delivers excellent performance. The ability to customize features such as picture is flexible enough yet not overly complicated. We really enjoy this TV.

We are new to 4K TV. We love the quality of the picture. The range of colors are vibrant and you see so much more in both the foreground and background of the picture. The only issue is older movies have a tendancy to have a slight motion rate but we still have yet to discover the ability to adjust in the settings.

This is the most amazing tv I've ever seen/ owned! The picture quality is mind blowing , the apps easy to use, very quick response no matter what you do on it! Set up is very easy as well.

I saw this TV in the best buy store and my eyes were glued on the screen. The picture was amazing and the 240hz refresh rate looked great on the video displayed. It was a great choice for $899(On Sale). Using this, I love the speed of the navigation compared to my last samsung smart tv(with older software). My old TV didn't have Spotify so when I saw the app I tried it out and man what a surprise that I got. The speakers on this TV are amazing!!! I was going to get a soundbar, but is don't really see the point after I heard it for the first time. It's also super thin which is always a plus. I really didn't want to spend the $900 at first, but I'm happy that I did.

Great tv for my small room. Wall mounted above the fireplace, it's the perfect size. I have a lot of windows and sunlight and always get a great image and color. The only negative is the connect one box. I had to apply Velcro and stick it to the wall behind the tv to get it out of the way. It's cord is not long enough to fish through the wall, like my HDMI and Ethernet cables.

Great picture and a great price. Just the right size (49 inch) to fit in my entertainment center. Easy to set up and use, love the smart features to direct access Netflix, etc.
