I thought the picture looks so good in the store because of the hook up they had. Easy quick setup and it looks and sounds just as good in my home!

For the price of this tv I was a little concerned it wouldn't be much better than a 1080p tv. After watching it for a few weeks now I am impressed how clear the picture is and unlike my other Samsung 1080p tv, this one has very little motion blur.

Love my 49" SAMSUNG smart TV. The color and picture quality are wonderful, as is the sound. It makes it fun to explore the "smart" features.

Love this tv!! Amazing picture. Comes with adapter so there are only 2 cords coming out of the back. Super thin and light. Very cool remote!!

Great picture. Looks great on our living room wall. Smart features are really nice. Easy to hook up to our surround sound system for audio.

I have throughly enjoyed this TV. The picture is very sharp and the colors are much more vibrant than the 6300 model that it replaced.

My new Samsung TV has a beautiful sharp picture and the colors are brilliant. I especially like the voice active feature of the remote.

great Samsung 4k UHD TV with TV - setup was a snap - purchased companion Samsung 4k BD player augments performance and ease of use.

My old tv died so I looked online for reviews of new tv's. This one was given very good reviews for a tv of it's size (49"). A larger tv would have looked out-of-place in my small living room but some of them got much better ratings. Very clear HD picture but not so great on channels that don't come in HD. Also, when people move fast (i.e. football players running, etc.) it blurs noticeably. I use DirectV but I don't know if that makes any difference. I would recommend this tv to a friend only if they had HD.

This my first Samsung television, and I have been impressed with the colors, and the sharpness of the picture. I originally bought the UHD 4k 50" Samsung. Decided to trade up to the 49" SUHD Samsung glad I did try watching a movie like Braveheart, and check out how the terrain comes to life!

Great TV. Picture is perfect with vibrant colors. Smart features are fast and easy to use. Would highly recommend this set.

We saw this TV in the store on a previous trip and could not stop thinking about it! We waited a few days, then took the plunge! It took us awhile to figure out how to best set it up .....but it was worth it....We've never seen anything like it ....and now we can't wait for 4K programming to begin!.....The' Smart TV' part was new to us too ...but we are learning how to use it.....a great product!

Bought this TV to replace one of my Plasma TV's that needed service. While no current TV technology can match the Plasma when viewing live sports, this TV comes very close. It has an excellent picture and to my amazement, excellent sound for a flat screen TV. As for Best Buy customer service, they have been great. I had to return the TV and get a replacement because of a factory defect and the Best Buy staff handled the return and replacement with friendly and courteous service. .

I purchased this tv to replace my 2009 Samsung 40" 1080P hdtv that still works to this day. I like the arc feature of sending sound to my receiver without an optical cable. My games in 4k hdr look amazing. Some flaws that I have had was mounting this tv I had to get 45cm bolts to hang this tv on my wall. My ps3 sometimes shows various black screens with this tv. never did this before with the old tv set. Finally the youtube app always has something to watch without using my computer.

The Samsung 49" SUHD Series 8000 was super easy to set up. All of my HDMI connections (Verizon FiOS DVR, Apple TV, Mac mini, and Blu-ray player) are all plugged into my Denon AVR E-300 receiver and then the HDMI out port labeled Monitor ARC connects the Denon receiver to the Samsung One Connect Mini box which then connects to the TV via the One Connect cable. The picture quality is AMAZING. I compared this TV against other TV manufacturers and this Samsung was the clear winner.

I have had this TV one week it has amazing clear picture with bright vivid colors. I own two other 4K UHD TV's and this one has the best picture of all of them. The quantum dot technology really does make for a better picture, but it is quite a bit more pricey so if you want to save a few bucks go for the cheaper one, you probably would not notice unless you have a side by side comparison. Having said that if you don't mind spending a bit more go for it, I love this TV!

Ok l have a vizio m43-c1 4k tv and was wanting something a little bigger. Read lots of reviews and went and looked at the different tvs. So l ended up getting the samsung un49ks8000 tv. Well the upscaling is way better on the samsung. The colors are more vibrant and the picture is much brighter. Very happy l got the samsung. It was a worth while upgrade. Now waiting on samsung to release their new 4k blueray player to go along with my new onkyo suround sound system

This model is superb and provides a wonderful viewing experience. Price has dropped twice within a month of purchasing it so was able to get one $100 refund. Too bad the "price guarantee" policy is not clearer--if so I would have waited for a full 30 days to see what the latest price was at the end of the rebate period.

Before reading this review, please note that I am slightly bias towards Samsung products, but I truly believe their panels consistently the best picture in the industry. I purchased this TV for the sole purpose of gaming in my bedroom. My normal viewing position is about 5-6'-0" away from the screen and I must say, I do not regret my decision to go with the 49" screen over the 55". The various features of this TV (including the new programmable remote, which was INCREDIBLY simple to program - and which controls my Xbox One in lieu of turning on a controller if I only want to watch Netflix) are absolutely amazing. The wide array of built in apps, the automatic download of software updates, and most importantly, the HDR feature of this TV are worth every penny. While the 9000 series panels offer a few different features, based on the comparisons, I truly felt that the extra cost was not warranted. Really the most important aspect of 4k is to make sure you have HDR and you have a solid panel (with enough HDMI slots). This panel resolves the HDMI issue by having one control center switch that all HDMI inputs tie into. While I think it is a bit gimmicky, I found that I like this idea better (and it works better than a traditional HDMI switch) than having all of my cables running behind my TV and having a heck of a time getting to each one. These are by far and away the darkest blacks and brightest whites I have ever had on a TV. Streaming video in 4k is just absolutely amazing. I also ran a UHD Blu-Ray through my xbox and it was incredible. If you're looking for a smaller room set (this would work for a smaller living room, a bedroom, an office or spaces under say 400sf where your viewing point is never going to be more than say 10-12'-0" away from the screen), I can't think of a better set for the price!

We had a space that needed this little-bit-smaller version. We still wanted an awesome TV in the space. This fit the bill perfectly. For our TV watching needs, it has all the clarity and ease of use we could possibly ask for. We mounted it on the wall and it is really thin. Looks great. As on the larger version of this that we bought for another room, I did not find the remote volume and channel buttons to be intuitive. But, once we figured it out, they are easy.
