I had not bought a TV since 2007 and it was time to upgrade. For the last year, I looked at multiple choices and finally picked this one. Worth every discounted penny I bought it for. It even dropped another $50 and I called Best Buy Credit Card support and they credited my account the difference. Picture is outstanding. I do not know how to calibrate or anything like that, but this is obnoxiously simple. If you have the cash, do not hesitate to buy this one

I purchased the Samaung 49- Class KS8000 4K SUHD TV TVs - UN49KS8000FXZA for my Motor-home. I have purchased the 4K up convert Blu-Ray player from Best Buy to pair with this TV. I will say the picture quality on the Samsung LED is more than amazing. As a person that purchased the first ever LED TV from Best Buy this TV has a picture quality like none I have ever scene. The colors pop out is amazing detail.I highly recommend the Samsung LED TV to everyone

I love watching movies and gaming. As soon as I put in a blu ray, I was blown away by the picture quality! I felt like I was actually on set with the crew! If your a gamer then this is the tv for you! The graphics are amazing and jaw dropping! Not only that, but this tv has apps where I can switch to Netflix anytime I want! If you want the ultimate theatre quality experience, be sure to get a surround sound like the Samsung 2.1 sound or more and an Xbox one S.

This model is the highest quality technology on the market; easily to install, nice appearance, great picture.

This tv is the bang for you buck with 4K and HDR I had the Sony model and it didn't come close to the quality

sales rep Chris R. steered me towards this item after I told him what I needed (2016 model, 4 HDMI ports, apps etc.) and after reviewing all of its features I opted to purchase this TV. Geek Squad surprised me by arriving the next day (I was told originally that the wait for installation was more than a week); Mason and Todd did an excellent job setting up the TV, connecting my Vizio sound bar and instructing me on all the features of this superb tv. The picture is amazing and navigation is a breeze. I like the way it works perfectly with my first generation Apple TV. TV stands are a bit high and obtrusive and there is a constantly-lit, slightly distracting lighted "Yamaha" insignia centered on the bottom frame of the unit. After 24 hours of use I am quite pleased with this purchase and will update this review later if I have additional insights or comments.

This Samsung is the best I found in this size range, use as entertainment in second family room. We have the same size, but curved version, in our master suite and must say I prefer the flat version versus curved. Matched this unit with a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer which provides great solution for this room - approximately 14' by 16'. Picture is great and 240 motion makes it even better. Worth the higher price versus competitors.

This is my first "smart tv." There definitely will be another when the time comes. The 49 inch fit perfectly in the same space as my earlier 42 inch Samsung. It took some time (a week or so) to learn how to navigate the components; but once learned it is very easy to operate. The "one connect" aspect works seamlessly. Add to that the K550 K sound bar system and you have an incredible TV experience. I strongly recommend that you disable the "eco" picture component; otherwise, your tv screen will fade to black as the ambient light where your tv is located changes, especially as day turns to night. With one remote for the tv, one remote for the sound system and one remote for the cable box consider getting a Harmony remote that combines all of these remotes into one (under $40)...well worth the price and programming this device is quite easy to do. I had my tv "calibrated" (this is recommended). No longer do people have a "burn" on their face; no more sheet of white ice while watching hockey; the green of a football field is now calibrated to show grass as it actually exists in real life. Switching from cable to apps such as Netflix is a breeze. All in all this is how you hoped tv would be and now is.

tv has a fantastic picture and the smart Tv hub is easy enough that my 4 year old can operate it

This is a high quality TV that exceeded my expectations in picture quality and functionality. The only issue that I have found is that the remote must broadcast on something other than IR, because I cannot get the TV remote to control the volume on my Sonos Playbar. I also cannot get my cable remote to control the TV. Overall the Pros by far out weigh the Cons. I would recommend this TV, and the Samsung brand to anyone.

I purchased this tv to use as a computer monitor and it has been nothing short of awesome. After a few updates and tweaking the windows 10 desktop looks stunning. Games also play great with very little input lag hooked up to 2 gtx 1070's sli.

I go this to replace a Hisense 50H8C, which promised UHD and HDR. It turned out to not support HDR on the HDMI inputs. (Firmware to fix that is promised, but not available as of 9-16-2106.) This set does it all, including HDR Premium peak brightness (> 1000 nits). An LG OLED might be superior (no blooming, better off-axis viewing), but at twice the price. Don't buy this if you need analog video inputs. It has none. (Not an issue for me.)

Easy to setup. Works well with Dish 4K Joey but the best images come from Netflix 4K content.

Easy to use and set up, right size for a smaller room. The smart tv features are intuitive

The Sansung TV was easy to connect and set up. The picture quality is outstanding, both the 4K and the upscaled HD. The external breakout connection box makes adding HDMI and USB connections very easy as you do not need to work with the back or side of the TV as used to be the case. I highly recommend the Samsung SUHD TV.

I love the beautiful color that this 4K Ultra TV has. The picture quality is amazing .
