I always purchase Samsung TVs because I wasn't impressed with other brands. This 49 inch UHD TV with high dynamic range has far and away the best picture of any HDTV I've owned. I can't rate the sound here because I use a soundbar with subwoofer. The remote takes some getting used to because it doesn't have many buttons. It's a smart remote for a smart TV so numbers are entered on the screen. When I powered up this TV for the first time, it said to power on all my peripherals and went about identifying them one by one. My Blu-ray player is also a Samsung, so when I turn it on, the TV goes on as well. I usually sit eight feet from the TV but at this desk the distance is fourteen feet, and the screen is plenty big.

Samsung has never disappointed me with their products. I haven't bought a new television in about nine years. The picture quality is excellent and the Smart TV features are easy to navigate and nice to have,.

After doing some research, we decided on the Samsung 49" Smart TV. it was very easy to set up and picture quality is great. The TV has lots of other features we have not explored as yet.

Purchased this television over a year ago and I absolutely love it. It connects easily to the wifi and I have never had a problem with sound, connectivity, or picture.

First class tv. Clear bright picture, good speakers. Easy to navigate through options. Remote control may be difficult to operate for seniors, but very high tech and compact.

If your looking for a tv with a great picture and good sound, this is it. Priced reasonably with online features and great connectivity. My only regret is not buying the 55".

Good TV, with a good picture. I was impressed with the sound quality. The color is a little too saturated in some instances. The HDR doesn't add much and often seems too contrasty. Good set of controls and options. The stand is pretty flimsy, but it works.

I wanted to upgrade my older 42" to a smart tv and I am very happy with my new Samsung. The resolution and sound are great. It's easy to use and the price was right!

The picture and sound kick our old box TV out of the sandbox. We love having a smart TV that can do so many things. Great quality. We haven't had any problems.

THe TV has a great picture and lots of extra functions. The only downside is that when going to a webpage it doesn't have and won't load a flash player, so you cannot watch local news streams or local programming. The remote is extremely user friendly.

Set up was extremely easy (A novice would have no problem),and all features worked perfectly without a hitch. This television is a great purchase for the price paid. I love all the high tech features this television, and voice activated remote provide. The greatest thing about this television is the awesome HD video. I also have the 550 wireless sound bar, and sub woofer. all I can say is WOW!!!!!

This is a very nice 4k UHD TV. It has a nice selection of smart apps, and I like the vivid colors on the TV. Looks especially gorgeous when properly mounted

I bought 2 smart 4 k Samsung TVs and had them installed by Geek Squad. Everything was very efficient. TV picture quality is superb. I still need 2 remotes for smart features, which is mildly annoying. A minor complaint is that I wanted all wires in wall, but tech said code did not permit electrical cord in wall. A week later, a handyman put them in the wall. Also, I'm perplexed that my larger Sony got "magnolia" or superior service-- I think all products should have that level of service, not just pricey TVs. But, overall, love the Samsung and highly recommend!

my Samsung 40 in was 9 years old. finally gave out on a Friday eve. went to the Glendale store on Saturday. wanted another Samsung, but a newer model year. over 50in to big. Chance our sales rep recommended the new 49in Samsung. so new not even on sales floor yet. I bought it sight un seen per Chance's recommendation. couldn't have made a better choice. would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a screen size less than 50in.s

This is my first flat screen tv so I never knew what I was missing, but, I love this tv! Great picture, easy to set up and operate.

I am in love with this TV The quality of the picture is just amazing and everything that I watch on this TV seems to reach out and touch you as if it is happening live in front of you. I watch a lot of nature shows and it is as if you are there. There are also the smart apps that come with the TV and are very easy to access and use. You can move the apps around and it includes all the popular ones including Netflix, Pandora, HULU, VUDU , Disney just to name a few. Great buy!

Brought this tv for best picture and good reviews for the money. Easy to setup and easy use. Great buy,got on sale.

I would highly recommend this TV. The color and picture are amazing. The smart tv hub is very easy to navigate.
