Our first new TV in 11 years. What appears on the screen is just about everything I had previously learned about the quality of this model. I am looking forward to the time when the networks start transmitting in 4K. It is pure pleasure viewing images on this large screen after 11 years of watching a 32 inch screen.

Because of space limitations (entertainment center) this was rhe only large screen that would work. You'd never guess it was not much bigger as the curved screen helps to make it appear larger. The color is fantastic; the sound not so much but I have a surround sound setup so it's a moot point. Love this tv!

I am very pleased with the picture quality on this tv, but I was a little shocked when i noticed that the back panel appeared to be not quite flush with the front panel. I was told that i could bring the tv back to Best Buy, but they didn't have any in stock and there was no way for them to assure me that the replacement wouldn't be the same way. I was not in the mood to box up the a 49 inch tv, return it, set up a new tv, and find out its the same way. They should have probably offered to have someone on the Geek Squad deliver a new tv.

Very happy with our open box purchase. I am primarily a price buyer and did not give much thought to the specific model though we have other Samsung TV's. The remote is a bit Spartan; leaving a bit to be desired. But better than the Fios remote which is way too confusing. Happy with purchase!

This is the very best T.V. I've s ever purchased, when I first seen the set at Best Buy, I was very impressed, and even more in my room, I'm legally blind, and this t.v. Is like I'm at a movie theater, this is the best.

This is a really nice TV that looks great hanging on my wall. The picture sure is amazing. I use it as my computer monitor and I watch movies and TV shows on it all the time. WOW it is really nice.

Great 4k picture. I spend a lot of time on YouTube looking at 4k videos and it all looks amazing. A beautiful tv that I really enjoy. Easy set up and the remote can control all your inputs with ease. Blu-rays and regular dvds look nice and sharp.

Phenomenal picture quality, especially when paired with the UBD-K8500 blu-ray player and set to HDMI UHD Color in the expert settings of the picture menu. Watching Independence Day on 4K blu-ray disc looks like you are watching a live, in-person performance. Definitely a noticeable improvement. The separate box for connections makes cable management a breeze and helps give a clean appearance. The only downside to this TV is the remote. It tries to eliminate as many buttons as possible to give slim form factor, but it ends up just being extremely annoying. I would recommend getting a Logitech universal remote and tossing the one that comes with this set. Otherwise, you are likely to end up tossing the remote anyway- at least it is so small that it probably wouldn't hurt or damage anyone / anything when you do.

My initial reaction was WOW, everyone is popping out of the screen. Then after a day, I was wishing for a more normal image.

excellent product for my viewing. initially purchased un55ks9500fxza but was to large for the location. un49ks8500fxza is fantastic. After purchased saw a lower price and BestBuy made adjustment. BestBuy is the Best Buy.

We wanted to maximize our 'TV area' and this TV size and curve are just perfect! We are so amazed at how clear the picture is! And the 2 guys who delivered it were perfectly on time, respectful, sharp, and so helpfu!l

Even non-4K, non-HDR content looks incredible on this TV. The remote is innovative and intuitive. Be aware that there is an external box for almost all inputs; only a possible issue if you are going to wall mount.
