All out TV's are Samsung and this one is exceptional.

I have been a long time customer of Best Buy, purchases from TV's, Laptops, Printers, Cameras, DVD Players, Sound systems, etc. I have never had a bad experience except for once, bad communication between sales & the Geek Squad in regards to setting my TV stand up upon the delivery of my TV. It was reconciled and I'm very Happy !

The 49" Samsung TV replaced a slightly smaller off-brand TV that we purchased a few years ago that went bad. I expect this TV to last quite a bit longer, so we paid a bit more for it and got added assurance with the Best Buy guarantee to make certain. We have other Samsung products which have lasted us very well over the years.

Clear TV and sound The geeks squad which came out and installed the TV was very professional and very helpful and showed us how to use the new TV

We set out to just replace our old Smart TV and the technician that helped us, Gilbert, did a great job of educating us and we ended up with this SUHDTV at a fantastic price - only about $200 or so more than we had planned on spending in the first place... but such a big difference in picture quality!

The TV is excellent and the picture is great. My only concern is that every several days the "Sources' disappear from the Homepage. The only way to get them to display again (so you can select a DVD player, for example) is to literally unplug the TV (very difficult with my built-in TV) and plug it back in after waiting several minutes. This will reset it so that the Sources appear again, at least until the next time it happens. This is very inconvenient! A black spot on an otherwise great TV.

Went to best buy to replace our LG TV that stopped working. Didn't have in mind anything in particular but we do like Samsung products. This tv has a great picture. Didnt think the curve would make a difference but it does. We are very happy with our purchase

Sony didnt create a 49" with the same technology as their top of the line models. Considering this I took a chance on the Samsung 8500 and it was pretty good. The sales consultant said the apps are better than Sony's, but I really dont see a difference. My father just bought the Sony equivalent so I did get to play with that too and have a good comparison between the two. In the end I would have like the Sony, but cannot complain about the Samsung.

We looked at the flat screen and the curved models in this line. I am so glad we went with the curved! It not only allowed us to get a larger TV in our entertainment cabinet (due to the curved dimensions), it added an awesome depth perception feeling.

Our new TV is excellent. We are really enjoying watching movies in high quality HD.

This TV is amazing. The look is crystal clear and every show looks "live action". The design is sleek and allows for viewing from all angles. The controls are simple. Would recommend over and over.

pro; easy set up . wall mount was a breeze, very light weigh. the curved screen fits perfect in the corner. cons; screen is very reflective, day time viewing hard with curtains open.
