Read a lot of reviews on this TV and other brands as well. Went to BB store to compare different TV's in this size and price range. I decided on the 49" 7series because of viewing angles and picture qualities. The HDR really makes difference and see no distortion during any type of viewing media. Not sure why other reviews are negative for viewing angles, picture is clear from all directions. I would recommend this TV to anyone especially with the features and picture quality and is a great deal with the sale price.

The TV not only looks, But the picture is fabulous. The 49" is an excellent size for bedrooms, den, study, and average size family rooms. Great quality and picture resolution

I was in awe at the quick setup for this TV. It immediately recognized Roku and my Fire tv and then proceeded to check for updates. Navigating for blue tooth was slightly challenging and then I read the manual. Great TV!!!!

Picture is amazing. We also bought HDMI cable to be able to take full advantage of the UHD feature. We use it with Roku which has animated aquarium as screensaver. It looks so real that we leave the tv on just to enjoy it.

FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH 4K TECH. THE COLORS ARE VIVID AND VIBRANT AND THE PICTURE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. THE BLACK LEVELS ARE OBIVOUSLY BETTER THAN I'VE EVER SEEN AS MY OTHER TV'S ARE REGULAR 1080P LCD AND LED. ALSO MY FIRST SAMSUNG, WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER LG AS EVERY SINGLE LG PIECE OF ELECTRONICS I'VE HAD HAS ALWAYS BROKE DOWN, INCLUDING A 9500 SERIES TOP OF THE LINE TV. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THERE IS SLIGHT MOTION BLUR, BUT FUNNY THAT THIS IS ONLY NOTICEABLE HERE AND THERE, NOT ALL THE TIME. BUT YOU CAN DEFINITELY SEE THE UPGRADE IN PICTURE QUALITY, EVEN IF THE TV YOU'RE REPLACING IS A 1080P FULL HD LED.

This is a good tv for the price we paid. I haven't seen anything too impressive in relation to it but we have yet to watch a 4K movie on it. However it is very sharp looking with the silver border and it's nice and slim.

no problems. have set up amazon and youtube and drama fever w/o difficulty. do have difficulty with xfinity on demand but can watch on laptop. remote mic is much easier for searches (but will not recognize foreign names).

The User interface is great and the picture quality so far is excellent. The price range is just right, I couldn't pass up the quality and price. So I purchased a 49 Class for my living room and 43 Class for my bedroom.

I am pleased with the cost and picture quality of this Samsung 49" TV. My only issue so far is this TV doesn't work with Universal Wall Mounts. The mount did not come with the correct length bolt, because the back of the TV curves outward at the bottom. I had to buy 40-45mm, M8 bolts to attach the wall mount brackets to the TV.

We have purchased many Samsung TV's and have been very satisfied with them all. We have never had one go bad. We went to Best Buy and were educated about the current TV's. A slightly more expensive Samsung was recommended, but after some thinking we felt more comfortable with this one. We use just an antenna and a ROCU and get a great picture and watch all of the TV that we want. The setup was easy The set did a lot of the set up itself. As a former teacher I give this set an A. This 49" Samsung 7 series replaced a 10 year old 47" Toshiba Regza 1080p TV. I was expecting a great difference and boy did I get it. The sound is great, the HDR is fantastic and I know this was the right choice. The only thing that's a drawback for me is the Samsung apps. I had to get a Roku Stick+ to get the DirecTVNOW app. Some folks don't like the remote, but after playing with it, I got the hang of it. It's not impossible, you just need to devote a little time to it. Overall, GREAT TV!!

No problems with initial set up. No complaints on the picture. Seems the remote is faulty. The tv turns off 6 seconds after I turn it on. Works on the 2nd try. Fortunately I have another smart remote that works well with this tv. The power cord plug in on the back of the tv isn't secure. It can easily come lose and interupt the power connection. Besides being irritating this may be a problem if I mount it on the wall which was my intention. The picture is nice, but I can't say that there is a significant difference between this 4K HDR and the HD 4K I purchased last year. I actually like the other one better. I would have returned this one, but it won't fit in my car. That's why I had it delivered.

I bought a Samsung 60 inch 4k when they first came out it supports hdr but they didn't Advertise it like they do now - this TV had all the options for a gaming room and works great with consoles that support HDR

We are an older couple and can see so much clearer on our new Smart TV it was easy for our grand son to install and hook up our sound bar.. just in time for all the wonderful Christmas movies thank you Best Buy

I bought this TV to be my primary game room, man cave TV. Its a phenomenal TV with great graphics and great smart features. If you’re looking for the best TV for gaming or watching the game, look no further!

Bought this TV as an open box and am very pleased with it. No damage to it, just a return. Color is great & it is 4K although my cable doesn’t broadcast in it yet, but the HiDef looks great. Setup was very easy. Happy that the stand is very long to stabilize it so it won’t tilt over & it’s fits nicely on my TV stand.

Truthfully if u want to buy without a lot of research u can’t go wrong with Samsung. The Smart HD TV is wonderful. In fact a friend of ours also bought one!

I bought this tv not knowing much about it. However my Best Buy salesmen did a great job bringing me up to speed on it and the features. Very satisfied with the new 4K technology and the picture. Thank you!

This is a good entry level 4k TV that meets all of the requirements for the new Xbox One X, which was the reason for the purchase. I would have liked this more if the sound quality was better, but I currently use a sound bar as a required item. This TV also could have been better if the brightness level was higher
